一、考研复试英语听力备考攻略

因此,各位考生应该通过各种渠道了解:目标院校往年的英语听力的考察难度、考察范围及常用材料,了解听力在整个复试中所占的分数权重,以及本专业对英语听力的要求程度等。

状语与定语相同的地方是,都起修饰限定的作用。不同的地方是,状语一般是修饰谓语的,而定语一般修饰主语或宾语。

状语的功用:状语说明地点、时间、原因、目的、结果、条件、方向、程度、方式和伴随状况等。

状语的构成我们同样也可以从三个方面来讲:词、短语、句子。

词的方面,就是我们通常所说的副词,用来修饰动词,形容词,副词或全句的词,说明时间,地点,程度,方式等概念。例如,It is different to write simply, directly and effectively.这个句子中的副词为simply, directly and effectively,用来说明write的程度,即简单地、直接地,有效地。通过我所使用的汉字“地”同学们也可能清晰的理解主语与定语的区别,定语所起到的修饰关系用的是“的”。

从短语方面,有三类短语可以作状语。

第一类是介词短语,例如without the ability to think carefully, they cannot fully participate in our democracy.在这个句子中without the ability to think carefully作整个句子的状语。翻译为,若是没有批判性思维能力,他们就不能完全投身到民主中去。

第二类是非谓语动词作状语,其中包括不定式作状语,不定式作状语时一般表目的,比如I went to bed early to get enough sleep. 句子中的 to get enough sleep便是不定式作状语表目的。又如studying at home, I can not go out to play. 这句话中的studying at home就是整个句子的状语。并且studying的动作发出者是句子的主语I. 再如,Taken according to the directions, the drug has no side effect.句中的Taken according to the directions是句子的状语,而且taken与drug之间的关系是被动。

第三类是独立主格,一般形式是with(可以省略)加上名词/代词的主格,再加上不定式、现在分词、过去分词、形容词短语、介词短语。例如(With) all flights canceled because of snowstorm, we decided to take the train. 在这句话中(With) all flights canceled because of snowstorm是独立主格,因为它的逻辑主语和主句不一致,前面cancelled的逻辑主语是flight,而主句的主语是we。所以这一点也可以用于区分非谓语动词作状语与独立主格作状语。

The main reason for reducing my course load is that I am finding it extremely difficult to manage six courses. In the beginning of the term, I was perhaps overly optimistic about juggling both my full C time studies and my part C time job (20 hours/week).
