完形填空

首先是完型填空，注意答题时间不要超过20分钟，尽量只读一遍。

注意三句原则，即答案提示一般在一个空的三句以内，包括空格上下句和空格本句。

注意上下逻辑关系中，表示转折和原因的逻辑常考，however和because经常作为正确答案出现（当然不是绝对）。

阅读理解

第二部分是阅读PartA，即四篇传统阅读，也是我们训练最多的题型，在读这四篇文章的时候要注意，有时候很难读懂全文，但是对于文章的主题，一定要把握清楚，把握好主题，即使文章没完全读懂，也能做对多数题目。

无论阅读的哪一种题型，要把握好经常设置正确答案的位置，如转折处，因果处，特殊标点符号处等等。

英语一阅读更注重推理题，因此要注意，选项与原文越接近，越有可能不是答案;英语二更注重细节题，虽然答案与原文接近，但是往往是对原文信息的高度总结，因此读懂文章主旨显得极其重要。

新题型

第三部分是阅读PartB，即新题型。英语一的同学要注意7选5和排序题这两种题型，这两种题型出现比重90%以上。

7选5要注意每个空的上下句，而排序题要抓住每段的首尾句，尤其是首句，这两种题型都要特别注意抓关键词，如大写词，数字时间，陌生词，名词短语，尤其是代词，注意this,these,those,such,his等词，这些词是关键提示信息。

而英语二的同学要抓住7选5，即给出半个句子，填上下半句的“7选5”，这种题型也是要注意定位关键词，尤其是大写词，时间数字;另一种题型，即标题匹配题，则要注意每段的首尾句，或者每段反复出现的名词，这些信息对于解题很有促进作用。

翻译

第四部分是翻译。无论英语一或二，英译汉过程中，划分句子成分起到很重要作用，拿到一个句子，先划分好结构，注意当中一些难词的翻译和处理，最后按中文顺序整理句子，注意主谓宾和补语顺其自然，而定语一般置于名词之前，状语置于句首或谓语动词之前。

有时候会碰到不认识的词，这种情况下可以省译，但是一定要保证句子通顺完整，这样改卷老师不一定发现，可能不扣分。千万不要把那个单词空着，还把原词照抄，旁边作注“不会”。

写作

第五部分是写作。无论大小作文，按照平时练习的结构和句型来写，大作文一定要把握好文章主题，注意尽量使用三段式，或者四段。

字迹要工整，不要写得太散，一行只写五六个词，或者写得太密，一行挤了20多个单词，一篇文章硬生生挤成了一坨。

绝大多数单词必须依附于文本才能够拥有具体的含义。拿我自己做例子：我是读过关于钢琴构造的文章才知道felt这个单词可以作为名词使用，是毛毡的意思(就是用来包敲击琴弦的小钢锤的那种材料);读过关于大陆板块以及火山形成的文章，才知道fault这个单词的另外一个意思是断层读过关于营养学的文章才知道condition还有病痛的含义;看过关于老千的电影，才知道骗局被他们成为confidence背单词，一定要在特定的上下文语境中记忆，只有这样才牢靠。脱离或者孤立于文本去背单词，背下来也没多大的用处。

正常的记忆单词顺序应该是这样：

1)先按正常做阅读顺序，开始阅读一篇文章，并做后面题目，比对答案;

2) 开始翻译文章，最好是在笔记本中翻译一句空一行，以便后面修改，做笔记。随手把遇到的生词、词组从词典里查出相应的释义并记录下来;

3) 遇到没有生词却依然读不懂的句子，那就去查查语法书以及其它的一些工具书;

4) 阅读完毕之后，隔一段时间去复习曾经阅读过的文章;

5) 为了复习最后阶段的方便，把依然记忆不够深刻的单词制作一个列表，反复浏览直至彻底记住为止。

学会了模板的基本架构，下面讲一下如何使用模板？

很简单，只需要做两步：

第一步，审题；第二步，组合。

怎样审题呢？

审题就是根据题目要求判断写哪种信件。不论什么类型的信件，都有特定的关键词，如：

审完题目之后，判断出来写什么信件了，接下来就是第二步组合。

如果是情感类信件，那么就先选用情感框架，然后匹配上对应的核心句。如果是信息类信件，那么就先选用信息框架，然后匹配上对应的核心句。

就是这么简单。

组合出信件的模板了，剩下的就是一些细节问题了。

问题一：怎么填写称呼。

称呼分两种情况：

一种是题目要求中已经明确给出写信对象了，直接照抄上就可以。另外一种情况，题目要求中没有明确给出写信对象。

这个时候，如果是写给单位或机构的，你就写Dear Sir or Madam；如果是写信对象有具体的身份，就直接称呼其身份即可，比方说写给校长，可以写Dear President。

问题二：怎么填写写信目的。

模板第一句这个空格是填写写信的目的，写信目的这块内容在题目要求里面都有，简单转述一下抄到空格处就行了。

问题三：怎么填写核心句。

核心句是小作文模板的精髓部分。小作文据统计，平均分一般在分。

分是个什么概念？

就是写的文章有一定的逻辑和思路，也就是我们前面讲的“有形”。但是要想拿高分，就必须既有形还得有神。而做到有神的秘诀就是写好核心句。

前面在讲核心句时候，我总结了两条写好核心句的原则：“动之以情，晓之以理”。

什么时候用动之以情呢？就是写情感类信件（感谢信和道歉信）的时候。什么时候用晓之以理呢？就是写信息类信件（像投诉信、建议信、邀请信等六种）的时候。

怎么运用这两条原则呢？我给大家分别举个例子。

首先道歉信。你可以从什么角度来写呢？

道歉主要是表达歉意，可以先说一下，自己不是有意这么做的，取得对方的一个谅解。接着可以说，保证以后不会发生此类错误。一个先求原谅后保证的思路。总之，就是以真情实感打动对方。

信息类信件我举建议信为例。

建议信主体是提建议，那得先有问题后有建议是这个逻辑吧。既然是针对某个问题提建议，那我们需要想的是怎么解决问题？

首先可以从宏观的角度，比如说，政府出台相关政策，制定法律法规等等；从微观角度，可以说提高个人意识，树立正确或乐观的态度等等。

以上我从思路上讲了讲核心句怎么写。学会这个思路,需要大家举一反三,把剩下的几种信件的核心句角度也练习写一下——例如辞职信可以从工作和个人方面写原因；投诉信核心句重点是对方给自己造成的影响；推荐人就介绍他学习工作社交能力突出，推荐事物就介绍事物口碑和它的价值。

核心句的中文思路都有了，把思路转化成英文表达，这部分也没问题了。前面说过，核心句是整篇文章的精髓，也是阅卷重点看的地方，所以一定要用写出文采，把你积累的最高水平的句子用这里。

千万不要用干巴巴的短句和中学词汇。建议大家从外刊中选取原汁原味的句子，改写成18个核心句。

正统的翻译理论讲求xxx信、达、雅xxx。但是在考研英语中，要做到xxx信、达、雅xxx兼顾是一件非常不易的事。而且，从真题的分布中也可以觅得一些玄机。翻译部分是和阅读、新题型一起构成了第二大部分，而且翻译的是一篇文章中的几个句子。这意味着，考研英语对翻译的考查还是侧重于考查我们的阅读能力。此外，再综合考研真题的标准答案来看，翻译达到xxx信xxx和xxx达xxx即准确和通顺就足够了。

(2)侧重于主谓宾和短语

标准答案的评分标准非常细，都是按照关键点得分，1道2分的翻译一般是4个关键点，一个关键点分。通过总结真题可以发现，句子中的主谓宾和稍微复杂的短语是关键词的xxx高发地段xxx，这些地方一定要清晰地翻译出来，万万不可含混。

三、作文

(1)从范文找标杆

想写出好文章，就得先确立目标，树立标杆，明确什么样的文章才是好文章，而这个标杆就是真题范文。分析真题的范文，会发现高分范文有一些共同的特点：

三段式永远不会过时。

观点不一定十分新颖，但都很清晰、有理有据。

如果题目中提供了两个观点，高分作文一定是选择其一，并在文章一开始就表明自己的立场，而不是xxx两个观点都有道理xxxxxx各打五十大板xxx。

连词不少，尤其是在段首和转折、强调、分点说明时。

没有通篇用长句，都是长短句相结合，有节奏感。

用词重复率很低，前后用不同的单词表达同一个意思。

(2)要xxx输出xxx，先xxx输入xxx

写作是英语能力的xxx输出xxx过程，要xxx输出xxx，先得有xxx输入xxx的积累。抓住一份真题的作文，从学习它的范文开始，依葫芦画瓢，把别人写的好的句子、短语，甚至开头结尾的方式、承上启下的句子、连词都标注下来，然后熟读、默写，再把范文合起来，自己完整地写一篇，不求和范文完全相同，也不怕和范文雷同。多积累几篇后，肚子里有点xxx货xxx了，以后再写别的题目也慢慢能找到感觉，写出自己的东西了。

(3)背单词不如背短语、句子

如果把写作当成盖房子，那么单词就是砖瓦。砖瓦不求多(词汇量大)，也不求奇形怪状(知道很多xxx高级xxx的生僻词汇)，只要够用就行，更重要的是要知道如何把这些砖拼成结实而漂亮的形状，而好的短语和句型就是已经拼好的、实用且形状漂亮的砖。

虽然很多作文辅导书上有分类整理的好句子，但更唾手可得的资源是真题的阅读文章和真题范文，在学习真题的时候可以从这两个来源中积累好句子，并把它们记在一个小笔记本，随身携带，没事儿就翻出来读一读。

连词就像文章的润滑剂，得体地使用连词可以让文章的水平大上一个台阶。一般学生除了firstly、secondly、lastly之外，对表示转折、递进等关系的连词(如however、despite、moreover等)并没有什么使用的意识。但是需要知道，连词性价比极高，真题高分范文中出现连词的数量有限，认真学习帮助会很大。

注意：真题文章可背诵

真题中的阅读理解是非常好的英语学习资料。做完真题后，需要对阅读理解的文章作精读，仔细查出文中生词、不太熟悉的短语句型，以及一些比较好用的短语句型，并作笔记。一方面可以提高英语能力，另一方面也可以下意识地积累写作用语。

第一，考查的类型多；第二，考查的话题多。

其次，考研英语作文的命制风格也与其评分标准相适应，究竟是先制定了作文评分标准再命题，还是先命制题目再制定评分标准，是一个先有鸡还是先有蛋的问题，已不得而知。但是可以明确的是作文题目命制风格和评分标准高度一致，下图是近五年的英语一作文真题。

近五年的考察的话题分别是“以身作则”“实干”“直面挑战的勇气”“坚持”“习惯（或时间管理）”。可以看出，都是一些较为抽象和宏大的品质，对比雅思写作题目，比如“很多人从乡村迁往城市，你从多大程度认为这是一个好的趋势？”，要完成这样一篇开放式作文，大部分同学能思考出相应中文观点就很不容易了，更不要说有相应的词伙积累（例如shortage of labour, job opportunities, improve living standards, consumer goods, public services等）来支撑自己完成论点的组织了。但是好在考研英语作文题目足够地抽象和宏大，不用去讨论太具体的事物，并不需要大量的知识储备，内容层面和思维难度要求比较低。

最后，从实际情况来说，真正具有英文写作能力的考生屈指可数，我和大家一样，从小到大学的都是中国式英语，深知我们的英语教学里对写作的忽视。命题专家肯定比我们更了解这个事实，如果用类似于雅思作文这种开放式作文题目来考察大家，就相当于用高中议论文题目去考察小学生，这样的结果就是考生上了考场现编，绝大多数作文都惨不忍睹，对于选拔性考试来说，这种结果显然是不可取的。

再者，既然是研究生入学考试，所考察的一定是作为一个准研究生应具备的能力，或者说通过考试引导大家提前培养该能力，直到我自己读研后才明白，95%的国内研究生在读研阶段根本不需要用英文写作，所以考研英语写作确实不用去考察真正意义上的英文写作能力。

①现在市面上考研辅导班、政治辅导书已经泛滥，我个人认为，政治辅导班一点用没有，纯扯淡，至于政治辅导书，不要买太多，我的建议是，第一遍看考试大纲解析（大本），因为这是命题的根本，不要看任汝芬的序列一，序列一和大纲不对应，里面有很多东西是大纲删掉的，但任汝芬又给加进去了，尤其是政经那部分，序列一还私自删掉了很多东西，用过序列一的人都有这个感觉，我去年看了一编序列一之后又看了一遍考试大纲，浪费了很多时间。第一遍一定要快点看啊。

②第一遍看完书之后就要做题，通过大量的练习来检查自己的知识漏洞，这一阶段也没什么好题，做做任汝芬序列二吧，反正我用的是这个，或者问问你们本校的学哥学姐，他们会有很多经验和教训，那个2000题没啥用，不好，没事再多翻翻教材，温故而知新。

③后期会有很多押题，什么20天20题，任汝芬最后四套题都没用，所谓的20天20题差不多是80题，毫无重点，一共20个议题，每一个议题下面又有4到5个小知识点，加一起超过80题，没有时间看完。任汝芬最后四套题，大题答案做的非常不好，一道大题的答案就将近一页（A4），考试时候哪用得着答那么多。后期多上考研论坛的政治板块，据我同学说，2010年的政治答题，好几道都在考研论坛里讨论过，毕竟人多力量大吗，集思广益，还是有效果的。

4．注意搜集学校信息，考试信息

①可以多认识几个南开的本科生，通过校内或者同学找，最好能把他们本科生的课件要来，为什么人家本校的考本校一考一个准，因为考的东西人家都学过呀。

②和自己本校的老师搞好关系，说不定哪个老师就和南开有联系，可以帮你打听到一些信息吗。

③南开是一个比较公平的学校，大家可以放心。

5．持之以恒

①南开不是那么好考的，竞争很残酷，这一点你要有心理准备。

1 最基本的，第一篇文章的第一题永远不选A。不信就翻翻历年真题的答案。假如你是命题的人，你也不会把第一道题的答案放在上来就能选中的位置上。

2 答案在意思相近或相反的选项中。

有了这两条，你就可以直接处理例如05年真题阅读的第一道题了，根据第2条，A,C意思几乎一样，则B,D排除，再根据第1条，把A踢掉，直接选出C，没看文章，选对了，其实如果你看文章了，还真不一定能选对。这些是最基本最常用的技巧，不是巧合，是技巧，命题组就是让你用这些技巧，因为这是一门学问，考试命题也是有学问的，这个在专业上叫测试学。不说废话了。

3 有always的选项不选。

4 有be of……的选项是答案。因为那个句式比较特殊。

5 有极端词（only/must/obveriousl/no等等）的选项不选

6 注意is的绝对语气以及注意may/should的缓和语气。

8 这是一条让你检查一篇文章的五个题目整体的对错情况。看看，连对错都能自己看出来，呵呵。记住两条，一、五个答案不能只限两种字母选项，比如BBDBD,ACACA这种。二、没有三个连续一样的答案，比如，AAACC,BBDDD这种。如果你发现你做的那篇文章出现了这种情况，那么其中肯定有错的。
