2.高职院校英语教师对课程资源开发的内容存在误解。

英语教材是英语学科最基本组成部分，也是教师和学生开展教与学重要的载体，其地位毋庸置疑。本人查阅很多院校的英语课程标准，发现这些标准的制定完全依托单一教材。在这种课程标准指导下的课程资源的开发和建设严重限制了教师创造性的发挥，导致英语教师对教材过于依赖，把教材作为唯一的课程资源。教材最大的缺陷就是其滞后性，内容不能及时得到更新，而且教材内容的编写和安排不能适合每一个院校或同一院校不同专业的学生，这样使学生感觉不能学以致用和不能激发学生的学习兴趣。一些时代性比较强和生活息息相关的鲜活的英语课程资源得不到开发利用。

3.实践性课程资源开发没有得到重视。

很多院校把高职英语作为一种理论课程，忽视了高职英语教学是一种知识性和实践性结合比较紧密的教学活动。从英语知识输入到英语技能形成，必须通过大量的实践活动才能完成。从学校层面上看，对应于实践资源的开发和重视程度不够，不能给学生提供英语实践活动平台。例如，目前几乎没有学校开发一种能检验学生英语应用能力的口语评估系统。从教师层面来看，侧重于知识体系的完整性，忽视了语言实践途径的开发。

4.英语课程资源开发建设与专业结合不够。

高职英语课程资源建设要发挥为专业服务，为学生未来就业服务的作用。教师在进行课程资源开发时，往往把英语作为独立学科看待，课程资源开发也只是学科体系规范下的课程内容的整合和重构。课程资源的建设者，未能认真研究教学对象的专业差异和其未来就业岗位的不同，因此导致英语教学资源未能体现与学生所学专业的相关性和未来工作岗位对英语需求的针对性。

二、对常州机电职业技术学院英语课程资源建设的思考

基于以上分析，根据常州机电职业技术学院目前的状况，笔者提出以下英语课程资源建设和开发的建议。

1.扣住我院专业特点，紧密围绕专业课程丰富英语课程资源。

我院专业设置主要以机电类、汽车类、计算机类、经管类为主，不同大类的专业对不同英语课程教学的要求必然各异，对英语应用的要求更是不能统一，这是由我院自身教学专业与目标决定的，比如对于汽车类专业的学生来说，教学资源的开发要侧重汽车专业英语方面；而对于经管类商务这个专业来说，兼备具有高水平的英语口头应用与表达能力，专业的特点要求其有商务英语知识做支撑，自然英语课程资源库的建设就必须围绕该特点来进行建设。我们目前已紧扣专业特点开发出了《机电行业英语》、《汽车行业英语》、《IT行业英语》和职业发展需要的《行业英语口语教学案》等校本教材，丰富了我院英语教学资源。

2.联合专业教师，共同推进教学资源库的开发和建设。

突出为专业服务特色的英语课程资源库的建设离不开专业教师的参与，专业教师要了解所在专业的学生未来岗位的英语需求。由专业教师参与课程资源建设整体规划，确定学什么，学到什么程度，为资源库建设的内容和建设方向提出专业指导意见。接下来英语老师要解决怎么教，怎么对课程资源进行内容整合的问题。教学资源建设开发的主体不仅是英语教师，更需要行业专家参与，不能闭门造车。

3.围绕教学主体，着眼学生全面科学的发展，搞好英语课程资源库建设。

在整个教学过程中，学生始终是教学的主体，英语课程资源库的服务目标也是学生这一教学主体，因此，笔者认为在我院英语教学中必须着眼教学主体的全面科学发展，并以此为根基搞好英语课程资源库的建设。首先必须对所培养的学生群体进行必要的研究，了解他们的社会阅历、兴趣爱好、知识能力等，剖析他们自主学习与合作学习的特点，并以此为基点，进行初步的英语资源库建设，然后将英语资源库应用于具体教学，通过具体的教学实践，让学生体验资源库中的内容，并征求他们的意见与建议，进而对英语资源库进行修正，从而让英语课程资源建设更趋于合理和科学。

4.加强院校合作，搭建校际课程资源的共享平台。

常州职教园区汇集5所高职院校，院校间可以建立英语教学资源共享平台，我们可以进行教学资源共享、分工协作和优势互补，集多方智慧于一身，建设开发门类齐全的和专业结合紧密的英语课程资源。

总之，英语课程资源建设和开发是一个系统复杂的工程，教师既要具有扎实的语言和专业知识功底，又要有先进的教学理念，并且熟知高职英语教学规律和特点，只有这样才能推动课程资源建设的深入开展。
