本学期我担任高二3和6两个班的英语教师，刚接手这两个班时，通过和学生交流了解到多数学生对英语学习兴趣不浓，觉得背单词和语法很枯燥，背过后不久就忘记了。看到英语文章满眼是生词，本来想好好看的，可是看一会后讲什么内容不明白，就不想看下去，时间久了就讨厌英语了。在讲授第一课的时候，我按照自己的教学设计，上了一堂自认为明白易懂而又不死板的课，认为教学效果如期理想，结果后来下课一调查，一听同学们反应，才知道我讲的口语大部分同学反应跟不上，而教学的部分内容同学们有的以前从来未学过。于是，我在课后更多的主动走近学生，与他们聊天谈心，增进彼此的了解，从而更进一步了解了学生的状况.一方面，学生英语听，说的能力相对较弱，授课采用较深的全英教学，同学们还不能适应。另一方面，203班的同学虽然比较活跃，上课气氛积极，但中差生占较大多数，尖子生相对较少。因此，讲得太深，没有照顾到整体。由此可以看出，了解及分析学生实际情况，实事求是，具体问题具体分析，做到因材施教，对授课效果有直接影响。这就是教育学中提到的“备教法的同时要备学生”。这一理论在我的教学实践中得到了验证。因此为了提高学生的成绩，结合我的学生实际，把我的教学分成五个阶段

第一阶段，主要是培养学生对英语的学习兴趣，布置任务给小组去，讲故事或者演电影，小品，上课时的前10分钟在全班同学面前表演，这些学生真有表演天赋，有时令全班同学捧腹大笑，一个小组一次轮流着来，经过大约2个月的训练，同学们喜欢上了英语。

英语是语言。困此，除了课堂效果之外，还需要让学生多读，多讲，多练。为此，在早读时，口语操练时，我充分利用有效时间，发现问题及时纠正。对部分不自觉的同学还采取强硬背诵等方式，提高他们的能力。

第二阶段，狠抓词汇，交会学生通过语音，构词法，词性，谐音等方式让学生背单词变轻松，每天背诵至少30个单词，循环复习，配合阅读文章加强理解巩固。现在我的学生不再害怕背单词了。

第三阶段，由于下学期升入高三9月份就要考英语听力，多数学生的听力能力薄弱，听不懂，要求每天晚上7：30-7：50集中进行听力训练，同时教给学生一些基本的听力技巧。比如带着问题去听，抓重点，注意not，however，thanks等转折词后才是说话者真正要表达的意思，在听的过程中适当的对数字等信息做简单的笔记。

第四阶段，精讲多练是我采取的另一个巩固学生所学知识的方法。在课堂上，我少讲精讲，让每位同学做好笔记，掌握知识重点难点，然后给予他们更多的时间练习加以巩固，课后留有适当不同层次的作业让不同层次的学生去练习，这样通过精讲，多练，让学生在听的过程中掌握知识，在练的过程中巩固知识。同时，我又让每位同学准备一个错题本，在我每次评讲习题的过程中，把他们易错的习题和知识点重点记在错题本上，以便于平时有重点地去记忆和理解。事实证明，这一方法切实可行，行之有效。

第五阶段，从20____年起____省的会考要记入高考总分，为了使每一个学生得到这2分，我利用15天左右的时间重点训练会考题，使学生对会考加以重视，并在考试中取得好成绩。

听课也是提高自身教学能力的一个好方法，只有多听课才能够逐渐积累经验。所以对每一次听课的机会我都十分珍惜。听课的主要对象是我们组的优秀老师的课，同时也听其他老师的课。本学期，我听了十多节课，我的收获很大，逐步掌握了一些驾驭课堂的技巧。听完课之后，把教师们上课时讲到的记在听课记录上，然后对我自己的备课教案进行修改，将他们很多优点和长处应用到我的课堂教学当中去，取得了较好的效果。

其次，我做到认真备课。上好一堂课难，但是要备好一堂课更难。在备课之前，对教材内容做到心中有数，并参考相关资料，认真钻研教材，确定重难点;同时，备课不仅要备教材，而且还要备教法;除此之外，更要备学生，根据学生的实际情况(即学情)采用适合易于他们接受的教学手段，不断培养学生的学习英语的兴趣。认真写好教案，对每一节课都做到“有备而来”，课后及时对授课做出反思，总结其中不足。并按照单元将语法知识整理成语法学案，分发给学生，以便学生课后记忆，做到有‘章’可循。多鼓励，少批评。为了使学生更爱开口，在练习中，要重视运用鼓励性语言，不断强化学生参加交际的信心。

认真批改作业。布置作业时，坚持做到有针对性，有层次性，形式多样化。每个学生对课堂上的知识掌握程度，都会在作业中得以直接体现出来。对于难度较大的题目，学生出现错误较多的作业，课上利用时间统一详细讲评每个错误;对于学生不该出现的问题，指导学生及时纠正。每周进行两次听写测试，对所学新单词、新短语、好句子进行听写。认真及时地批改听写。并针对学生的听写情况，认真透彻地进行讲评，根据其情况不断改进教法。从而做到因材施教，教学相长。

第一,学校组建发展规划处的决定十分及时,正确,是完善现代大学管理体系的重要举措.我个人认为,根据以上的基本职责和任务可以看出,发展规划处是学校重要的综合性,交叉性的管理部门,其主要作用是战略研究,统筹规划,综合协调,既是学校事业发展的规划部门,也是学校重大规划任务的协调落实部门.从建立现代大学管理制度的角度来看,发展规划处具有其特殊而重要的管理功能,有鉴于此,目前绝大多数985大学相继组建了发展规划处,足见其重要性之所在.

第二,担任发展规划处处长的岗位是富有挑战性和特殊性的岗位.这是由该部门的基本岗位职责所决定的.我个人体会,作为发展规划处的处长必须具有三个重要的基本素质和能力,一是要具有较丰富的综合知识和较强的综合分析问题的能力,才能够完成大量的战略规划工作;二是要具有较强的多部门,多单位综合协调能力和工作技能,才能够在正确处理各方面竞争与矛盾的基础上,完成相关任务;三是要具有较强的文字表达和写作能力,才能够以较高质量完成大量的报告编写和研究工作.这三点既是本人工作的体会,也是一年来在具体工作中不断提高自己管理能力的奋斗方向和努力的重点.

(二)一年来的岗位工作任务完成情况总结

一年来的工作头绪很多.为了便于检查考核,我分别从规划处基本任务完成情况一一加以简要总结概述.

1,组织完成学校总体发展规划编制工作. 在学校领导的统一部署和安排下,我本人直接组织,起草完成并正式发布了《中国农业大学事业发展规划》,《中国农业大学新农村建设行动规划纲要》两个重要文件.还组织完成了我校第一个《中国农业大学事业发展规划文献汇编》一书,约近30万字,成为集成我校各级,各部门规划的重要历史资料.组织起草完成了《中国农业大学211工程第三期预可行性规划报告》并已提交教育部.2,负责推进^v^985工程^v^的各项基本建设.我校^v^985工程^v^二期建设项目于XX年4月正式启动.迄今为止,三年到校总经费亿元.自^v^985工程^v^的管理工作由学校科技处划归发展规划处以来,克服人力不足的困难,切实加强^v^985工程^v^管理工作的协调力度和监管力度,完善管理程序,使^v^985工程^v^各项建设任务积极推进.XX年是^v^985工程^v^实施三年来进展最快的一年,科研平台基地建设基本落实,重大仪器设备采购基本完成,各项工作顺利进行.

3.协调完成了^v^985工程^v^人才建设工作.经过联合人事,科技,国际中心等部门认真组织和各个平台的积极申报,先后组织各级各类人才协调论证会议5次.截止到XX年底,学校利用^v^985工程^v^人才队伍经费引进各类人才28人,配套教育部新世纪人才27人,教育部创新团队2个,高等学校创新引智基地2个.各类人才经费也已基本落实.

4,协调完成我校国家级重点学科评估和新学科增补工作. 根据学校领导的指示,国家重点学科评估工作由发展规划处牵头落实.为此,我们联合研究生院,科技处等机构成立学科建设协调办公室,认真积极的组织各个学科评估材料和申报工作,严格把关,积极服务,确保上报材料的水平和质量.经过全校的共同努力,我校19个国家重点学科评估全部顺利通过,这是一件值得关注的大事.同时,也开始积极部署新增加学科的申报工作.

6,负责完成学校统计工作和年鉴工作.统计工作是我处一项重要工作职能.在学校各部门的支持配合下,按时保质地完成了统计数据上报工作,并逐步理清了校内统计工作责任,初步建立了统计工作机制,促进了统计工作的规范化.根据上级部门的要求,协调学校有关单位,顺利完成了-XX学年中国农业大学《高等教育基层统计报表》的上报.负责完成了《中国农业大学统计公报》.此表分28个分表,涉及17个校内单位,共54页,上报数据达数千条.通过汲取经验,学校首次发布了《中国农业大学统计工作管理规定》,使之制度化,规范化.《XX年鉴》编撰工作进展顺利.

7,协调完成了教育部直属高校^v^^v^基本建设计划编制与上报工作.XX年7月,教育部发布了《教育部办公厅关于布置直属高校编制^v^^v^基本建设计划》的通知.我首次接手此项工作,工作难度非常大.根据教育部的要求,与后勤基建处,财务处配合,在广泛征求各学院和附属单位意见的基础上,召开了多次会议研讨会议,并多次报学校党委常委暨校长办公会审议,按时完成了《中国农业大学^v^^v^基本建设计划报告》的上报工作.8,组织开展了XX年度发展规划专题咨询项目的研究工作.11月,根据学校领导指示要求,组织开展了XX年度中国农业大学发展规划专题咨询项目《世界一流涉农大学发展道路研究》的组织立项 工作.我们积极组织有研究能力和国外留学经历的教师申报,确定了20个课题立项.目前已经完成研究报告70万字,得到了瞿振元书记等校领导的高度评价,正在组织进行成果凝练.

9,协调完成了学校部分研发中心的论证工作和各级研究中心的普查工作.一年来,先后组织开展了^v^985工程^v^曲周实验站建设论证以及学校草业工程中心,中国农业大学—超大集团作物科学研究中心,土地中心,中法肉牛中心,荒漠化中心等近10个研究机构的论证工作,使得我校研究中心等机构设置的论证工作步入制度化和规范化.根据校领导的指示,还对全校所有研究中心现状进行了全面普查,加强了管理.

10,参与组织和起草了学校部分重要报告.发展规划处还担负着起草学校重要文件的任务.一年来,按照学校安排,我直接参与学校第二届党代会《党委工作报告》的调研活动并组织起草了党代会报告初稿.完成了《校长任期述职报告》以及教学评估综合材料等撰写工作.

(三),在具体管理工作方面的体会

上任伊始,发展规划处既没有工作基础,工作条件,也没有人员队伍,一切都是从零开始.但是,学校的工作一刻不能怠慢.面对新的岗位,新的任务,我一方面按照学校部署,积极选拔人员,在1个月内组成了7个人的团队,另一方面,开始思考和谋划如何能够在较短时期内打开工作局面,获得领导和群众的认可,这是一个不小的考验. 回顾一年来的工作,实践证实,我和我们处的全体同仁经受住了考验,付出了积极努力,得到了大家的认可,工作取得了预期效果,略感欣慰.这些成绩的取得,离不开学校领导的支持和鼓励,离不开各级部门和学院的支持合作,离不开广大老师的理解和支持,在此表示感谢.

根据《公司法》﹑《公司章程》赋予公司监事会的职责，我受监事会的委托，向股东大会做XX年监事会工作报告，请各位股东审议。

一、监事会会议情况：

(一)报告期内，公司监事会共召开了五次会议：

1、XX年7月25日，监事会召开了本年度第一次会议，讨论了公司资产被冻结及五万元律师咨询费用途的事宜。

2、XX年8月30日，监事会召开了本年度第二次会议，讨论关于建议董事会提前或按期召开本年度第二次股东会，向股东通报公司资产被冻结和虹波苑小区成立业主委员会等问题。

二、监事会工作情况：

报告期内，公司监事会仍然严格按照《公司法》、《公司章程》、《监事会工作细则》和有关法律、法规及的规定，本着对公司和对股东负责的态度，认真履行监督职责，对公司依法运作情况、公司财务情况、投资情况等事项进行了认真监督检查，尽力督促公司规范运作。

一年来，监事会列席了公司部分董事会会议，参加了公司班组长以上的骨干会，通过检查公司财务、抽查二级部门物管公司的财务，抽看了综合科的账本，对公司的财务着力进行了了解，对公司董事﹑经理执行公司职务时是否符合公司法、公司章程及法律、法规尽力进行了考察，对公司董事会、经营班子执行股东大会精神的情况进行了检查，对公司经营管理中的一些重大问题认真负责的向董事﹑经理提出了意见和建议，对公司经营中出现的疑问提出了质询。

根据一年的工作实践，监事会对报告期内公司情况向股东大会作报告：

1、公司依法运作情况

公司的董事﹑经理和高级管理人员基本能遵循《公司法》﹑《公司章程》行使职权;能够按照上年度股东会上提出的工作目标开展公司的经营管理工作，各部门完成了董事会和经营班子所制定的XX年度经济责任指标。

但是公司董事会和经营班子没有认真贯彻落实上年股东大会精神，没有执行上年股东会形成的关于、决议，对上年股东会上监事会提出的关于对公司XX年的三点建议不予重视，没有严格按照公司法、公司章程的有关规定和相关程序进行工作和处理问题，公司董事会、经营班子没有从机制上、制度上、分配上下功夫，缺乏大胆管理的精神，公司董事会、经营班子在对一些重大问题的处理和决策忽视股东的权益，从而使得公司工作成效不大，职工积极性不高，股东不满意的状况。

2、检查公司财务的情况

从四川神州会计师事务所出具的公司XX年度财务审计报告基本上反映了公司的财务状况,报告表明:公司全年总收入元，其中实现主营业务收入元(公司本部收入为元，物管公司经营收入元)，营业外收入元。

监事会通过检查公司财务,查看公司会计账簿和会计凭证,认为虽然公司报表完整,账目清晰，但是公司财务不能完整真实反映公司的财务状况。

During this month, with my father, I have got the chance to work as an intern in Tianjin Haiping Industry and Trade Company, which really excited me for a long time. The company is a start-up by my father’s friend, and it belongs to a micro-firm, so it only employed ten people or less.

After an brief self-introduction with the staff of the company, my internship started. It was my first time that I worked in a real company. I felt a little nervous because I had no idea of what kind of job I would take. As an English major student, I’m sure my knowledge of English is adequate for the job. And I have basic knowledge of foreign trade .So I think I just need to apply it into practice. During this time I worked as an assistant in the office, helped to deal with the language work, such as communicating with foreigners in English and translating the files between the companies. And I also did some daily and easy work because of my lack of work experience.

Then my first major task was handling phone lines, including incoming and outgoing phone calls in the front desk. Initially, I thought this task would be easy, after all it was just answering phone calls, but I quickly learned how much work had to be put into these phone calls. I realized that I had to better equip myself with the knowledge about the communication, be prepared for answering questionings, and memorize all the department extension as we were not allowed to reference any directory when transferring calls. Fortunately, after one week, I was able to grasp all the necessary requirements and I progressed a lot. In addition, during my first task as front desk personnel, I was exposed to other tasks, such as do some faxing and photocopying in company, preparing the material for the workmates, fetching newspaper or other documents for them. I had been doing that work almost a week. At the very beginning, I was so disappointed about what I was busy with. I was even so tired of them and gave it up. But when I saw the hard-working mates and some courage from my friends and leader, I moved on.

The following weeks, I switched gears and moved to the main office where I would spend the next two weeks in front of a computer, conducting research into different corporations in China that produce the similar products with our company. The process was not only time consuming, but complex and knotty as it involved a great amount of reading and recording. I managed to produce information, and communicate with customers and send e-mails. E-mail is the most common form of communication with customers. Therefore, we can use the knowledge about English correspondence for foreign trade we have learned in school. Many buyers or full-time purchasers simply judge your professionalism by your E-mail. Many customers also liked contacting with me on MSN or Skype, and they would ask for voice communication. At first I was nervous ,and I was always thinking about how to speak English in the right words and correct grammar. However, I found that they were not exactly strict to my English. As long as my oral English is enough to communicate and I know professional product knowledge, they can understand what I say. They are all outgoing but serious when talking about business.

Though hard and a little boring, I can be a part of the social society and enjoyed the pressure and competition from the outside world, quite different from the school yard. And also, many disadvantages and weakness have shocked me so much during the intern time. When I was blamed or criticized for my fault at first, I would try to argue with them and avoid my duty in the case. However, now, after such a long time training, I will be silent to accept what they teach me or scold me, and then self-question myself to make some changes. What I learned at school is so limited that I can hardly put into practice when faced with different complicated situations in society. So there is no doubt that I’ll read more and experience much to balance the book-knowledge and social life. And only in this way, can I be of importance to me, then to the country.

III. Gains:

“Study for the sake of use.” as a Chinese saying goes, I should say that there does exist a big gap between theories and practice. During this internship period, I have learned a lot of things that I can't get from our books:

First, it offers me an opportunity to get in touch with the things that I haven't encountered before. Many products of our company are stranger to us. Furthermore, I have broadened my horizons.

Secondly, the internship rightly provides me with a good chance to train my ability of communication and improve the spirit of teamwork. There are about ten employees in all. I didn't get acquainted with any of the other four, but in the first week, we got familiar with each other and shared information with each other. Also, when I encounter a difficult case, I'll also turn to the senior members of this department for help and they are always ready to help. Harmonious interpersonal relationship, right? IV. Problems and Solutions :

The first one is related with the foreign trade terms. Such as quotation, ordering, terms of payments, out-factory preparation and payment. They are the most complicated and difficult issues. Because my major is not business English, I did not know the jargon and the professional name of our products at the beginning. I would read some books about International Trade to learn them by myself. And sometimes, I would ask others to explain them for me. The best solutions will be taken down into my note book. I know it does need some time to experience in handling such cases.

The second, my working attitude is not good enough. At first, I did not realize the seriousness of working. But I tried to correct my thoughts and focused myself on my work. But the members there did offer great help and teach me a lot of things.

The third, being shy is always my weakness. In fact, when I am with my friend, I am talkative. But during my work there, at first, I get nervous with the strangers.

The last but not least, my oral English is not good enough and I must practice it again and again to improve it. When I was talking with the foreigners I found that sometimes it was very hard to understand what they are talking about, not because of sick listening comprehension, but their accents, which really bothered me a lot. What we learned in the class is Standard English, so it is easy for us to understand each other. There are some customers’ pronunciation I cannot understand. One time, a client called me on Skype, so I found that he spoke very fast and I just can catch ^v^Hello!^v^ Then I could not understand any word and I immediately told him I do not understand what he said, and then he typed while I speak. In the final installment of the three-part series (view parts one and two here), Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd. Managing Director Mark Whitehead and Emirates Airline’s Divisional Senior Vice President, Cargo, Ram Menen discuss the past year and their projections for 20XX.

What was the most significant storyline of 20XX?

Mark Whitehead: Amid the Japanese tsunami and its commercial aftershocks, the New Zealand earthquake, squabbles with the Transportation Security Administration over deadlines to meet their heightened security requirements and the ongoing saga of surcharges, the dominant storyline for us in 20XX was falling tonnages on major routes — particularly those out of Hong Kong.

But we are not convinced that this swath of negative coverage is really justified — we feel there have been too many comparisons to 20XX, leading to the impression that 20XX has turned out to be much worse than it should. In Hactl’s own case, we could fall farther and yet still beat our previous peak of 2007, which would be no small achievement.

20XX was a post-recession bounce fueled by global restocking, so it was always going to be hard to beat. But many in the air cargo industry thought 20XX was a sign of even better things to come and budgeted for incremental growth in 20XX. They now have a major problem.

Ram Menen: The market slowdown is, obviously, the topic that has dominated the industry. But what is most remarkable about 20XX is the number and diversity of factors that contributed to the slowdown. Natural disasters, such as the tsunami in Japan and the Thai floods, were major events that not only impacted exports and imports in those countries directly, but also hit global supply chains. Production lines in factories were halted due to the sudden shortage of vital components.

Economic instability has also been a significant issue, with the various crises across Europe and the politicalization of the deficit ceiling in the . all rocking consumer confidence. We also can’t forget the sustained high cost of fuel, which is an ongoing challenge for the air cargo industry. On the plus side, it was good to see the Boeing 747-8F enter service, while the Arab Spring heralds a new beginning for many businesses in the region and will stimulate international trade.

What lessons have you learned in 20XX that will help you have a successful 20XX?

Menen: You can never trust forecasts. Old rules don’t apply, and the new rules haven’t been written. The industry is becoming less predictable every year, with more and more challenges arising. Of course, the price of oil is always something we have to contend with, but, worryingly, natural disasters seem to be happening at a more frequent rate, while increasingly more national economies are struggling. We are continually learning, and every challenge helps us become better prepared to manage whatever new challenges 20XX brings.

Whitehead: As a relative newcomer to this industry (I became Hactl’s managing director in September 20XX), but a long-term observer of others while working at a senior level, I have quickly learned how sensitive air cargo is to the health of the global economy and how reactive it is to consumer demand.

Air cargo is a business that can boom in response to the release of a single, new piece of consumer technology (, the iPhone 4, the latest Playstation or the Kindle) or crash because fears of defaults in one small economy have threatened to upset the currency of 16 others. I now realize that the major strength of air cargo — its ability to respond to sudden changes in consumer demand — is also its major weakness.

I’m developing the view that any prediction in air cargo is pointless if it’s based only on a recent or short-lived trend (like the one displayed in 20XX), rather than the extrapolation of a long-term picture that has been proven right by history. You could say that this risks missing the next major opportunity, but I don’t think so. It avoids the equally serious risk of assuming lots of additional overhead that could quickly become a millstone if predictions fall short.

History usually repeats itself, and long-term trends of the past, which incorporate past peaks and troughs, are a much better basis for predicting future trends. That alone is not enough, however. The trick is surely also to factor in additional growth from real prospects of business gains that are within your influence and consider the possible effects of any real or probable threats. But you must also accept that the short-term picture may still be impacted either positively or negatively by totally unforeseen events beyond our control. After all, that’s air cargo.
