大塔，这个近千年的建筑是锦州唯一的标志，小城很小马路上偶尔的有货车开过，人们上下班都以步行和骑自行车为主，那时锦州的百货大楼是锦州的最高楼房。”那时爷爷和小伙伴们星期天的时候都会去百货大楼遥看着西面的锦州半个城市。

爷爷又跟我说：“现在的锦州正以日新月异的速度在发展，城区以由过去的小城区扩大到了凌河、女儿河的南岸，那高高的城市建筑，那宽广的马路，那匆匆的车辆，那花园一样的街道，那充满幸福快乐的人群都述说着城市的进步”。

我家住在锦州的城南，每当夜幕来临我会和爷爷奶奶一起去市府广场，远远就能听到那悠扬悦耳的舞曲。明亮的路灯下人们翩翩起舞，快乐的锣鼓声中人们扭着大秧歌，散步的人们围绕着中央建筑一圈圈的走着唠着，一片太平盛世。爷爷奶奶也会随着乐曲跳上一会呢!

锦州在进步，城市在变化，我相信锦州会越来越好。我为我的家乡骄傲，我为我的家乡自豪。祝福我的家乡繁荣昌盛，祝福家乡的人们幸福安康。
