In order to encourage the students to take outdoor exercise, our school organized a mountain-climbing on April 10. Hundreds of us took part in it.

It was a nice day. At 8:00 am, we gathered at the foot of Daqing Moutain and set out for the top in high spirits. Al the way we were chatting, singing and laughing, enjoying the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. When some fell behind, others would come and offer help. About 2 hours later, we all reached the top. Bathed in sunshine, we jumped and cheered with joy.

The activity benefited us a lot. Not only did it get us close to nature and give us relaxation from heavy school work, it also promoted the friendship among us. What a wonderful time .

为了鼓励学生户外运动，我们学校组织了一次爬山4月10日。数百人参加了它。

Nowadays some people like to compare university study to mountain climbing-an activity that requires painstaking, persistent efforts and strong will if one expects to make it a success. In my opinion, university study and mountain climbing indeed have some similarities.

Firstly, both university study and mountain climbing require painstaking efforts. A student has many things to learn and will sure encounter lots of difficulties in the road of study; while a mountaineer will also face many difficulties before he or she reaches the peak of a mountain. Secondly, university study and mountain climbing require persistence. A university student should learn to accumulate knowledge for his or her ultimate exam, while a mountaineer should also learn to preserve energy for the ultimate challenge. Thirdly, a sustainable willpower is needed in both university study and mountain climbing. With many difficulties and frustrations around, a student or a mountaineer should face them with strong will.

Through the above analysis, we could conclude that dreams can only be achieved by painstaking efforts and strong will.

It's spring now. The weather is warm and comfortable. It's a good time for hiking. Therefore, my teacher organized a climbing for us. There is a beautiful mountain in my city and it's target this time. We took bus there and arrived there at 9 .. After we took off the bus, we started to climb. The mountain is high but the scenery is beautiful. We are so excited that we climbed fast at first. But after a while, some of us were tired,especially girls.

They did not want to go on anymore. But some others encouraged and helped them. All of us slowed down our speed, so that no one was left behind. About 11:00 ., we got to the top of the mountain. We were so happy that we did it. We feel that all the tiredness were worth it.

Why I like moutain climbing? Let me tell first,moutain climbing is good for my health and I can take exercise at the same can help me to build up my endurance and it's helpful to me in my studies. I also can get close to nature. I usually go for moutain climbing in my holiday with my friends. We often set out in the morning .Because at that time, the air is better. As we go , we can enjoy the beautiful scenery around us . Especially when we reach the top of the mountain we can enjoy the scenery of the city that we live in .
