再读第三遍：

For this reason, and because housing problems are generally large in scale, I agree that only government can ensure citizens will not have no abode to live in.

With the rapid development of industry and great increase in employment, more people are swarming into cities. Accommodations have become ever difficult, causing inconvenience to people’s work and life. For this, There are some methods that government can use to solve this problem. Firstly, the government can appeal to property developers to establish more and more apartments in the suburbs. The fresh air and clean water will attract some people to move to the other side to go. More importantly, the suburban house prices will be much cheaper than the city. Secondly, the government can control prices. If the property prices are too high, many people can not afford a deposit and a mortgage. Last but not least, the government can provide state or council housing. This help people who can not afford to buy their own house.

By contrast, neither property developers nor other organizations are willing or able to voluntarily make the short-term sacrifices necessary to tackle this problem. Only the government holds the regulatory and enforcement power to impose the necessary standards and to ensure that we settle the matter.

In the final analysis, only the authority and scope of power that a government possesses can ensure the attainment of agreed-upon housing problems solving goals. Because individuals are unable and businesses are by nature unwilling to assume this responsibility, only government can do so.

第一点要牢记的是，千万不要字体潦草，难以辨认。很多考生认为字体不重要，平时写字就龙飞凤舞，到了考场时间紧张，字体更加潦草，难以辨认，给考官阅卷带来困难。字体不好会不会影响分数? 笔者曾经专门请教过雅思考官，得到的答案是，字体当然会影响分数! 想想看，考官是通过阅读你写的文字来了解你的观点和思路，判定你的写作水平，而每篇文章通常只有2—3分钟的阅卷时间，如果字体潦草，难以辨认，影响了考官的阅读和理解，势必会影响分数，所以亲爱的考生们，一定要字迹工整清晰啊!

第二点要牢记的是，千万不要单边论证，结构失衡。在雅思大作文题目中，通常都有两个对立面需要去分别阐述和论证，如果你只说其一，不说其二，片面看待问题，很容易造成写作偏题，结构失衡，因此而失分。比如下面这个题目：

Some people think money which the government spends on art, such as music and painting, would be better spent on things more important. Do you agree or disagree?

该题话题属于政府支出类，题目中有两个对立面，分别是art和things more important，都需要阐述。而有的同学只写things more important，比如教育和医疗，忽略其对立面art，那么这样的文章就是偏题，没有完全回应题目的要求，会因此而失分。考生在审题的时候，一定要把握住题目中的对立面，正方和反方都要有相应的主体段落。

第三点要牢记的是，千万不要语法错误太多、用词不当。6分的作文，是一篇可读性较强的文章，可以是简单句为主，复合句为辅，语法错误很少，读起来通顺流畅。很多考生误以为“牛”的文章就是大词长词、从句套从句，因此他们过于追求生僻的词汇和复杂的句型，经常出现用词错误和语法错误。殊不知这样错误百出的文章，在考官眼里只是“小学生作文”，很难上6分。因此，笔者建议考生尽量选择有把握的常用词汇，力求写出符合英语语法的准确句子，多写多练，提高表达的准确性，这样就离6分越来越近了。

第四点要牢记的是，千万不要逻辑混乱，思维跳跃。有的考生在论证观点时不符合常理和逻辑，比如在论证因果关系时，不是从原因到结果一步一步往下推进，而是想到哪说到哪，思维跳跃，缺乏逻辑。这样的文章，考官读起来可能感到不知所云。其实在论证时，并不需要高深莫测的思想和标新立异的观点，只要把论点合理展开，解释清楚，符合常理和逻辑就可以了。

柱状图：“比较”(找出similarity)和“对比”(找出difference)，是写作的关键，既要横向总结所有柱状图表的共性特征，也要分别描写各个柱子的个性特征。

饼图：是所有图表题中最好写的一种，值得注意的是要处理好怎样丰富百分比的表达和“占”的表达。不要一直用数字加百分比的格式，如25%。特定的数字可以采取多样性的表达，如25%=a quarter of, 50%=half of, >50%=a,or the majority of。

曲线图：关键是把握好曲线的走向和趋势，学会general classification,即在第二段的开头部分对整个曲线进行一个阶段式的总分类，使写作层次清晰。接下来在分类描述每个阶段的specific trend,同时导入数据作为你分类的依据。注意不要不做任何说明就机械性的导入数据!可以使用一些比较native的单词和短语来描述trend。

表格题：考察例举数字的能力和方法。注意怎样通过举一些有代表性的数据来有效地说明问题。

流程图：注意流程图里的“因果关系”或每一流程的“承前启后”关系;表达每一流程的主体内容，阐明这种关系;揭示其内在联系或规律;最后，给予简要归纳和总结。
