记得有一次，我被一道数学思考题难住了，在百思不得其解之后只好去请教妈妈。妈妈给我讲了一遍，可还是没有听懂，因怕妈妈说我笨，便撒谎说听懂了。于是，妈妈又给我出了一道类似的题让我做，我因弄不清题里的数量关系，半天也没做出来。妈妈见状，狠狠地把我批了一顿，我很委曲，豆大的泪珠从脸上滚落下来。妈妈严厉地说：“做学问要诚实，有一是一，有二是二，不能不懂装懂。”听了妈妈的话，想一想自己的所作所为，我才深深认识到自己的错误，“是呀，如果刚才让妈妈多给我讲几遍，问题也许就解决了。”于是，我如实向妈妈承认了错误，并请求妈妈再给我讲几遍。妈妈耐心地给我讲了起来……，她边讲边用线段图把题里的数量关系表示出来，这样便于我更好地理解。一遍又一遍，我终于明白了。而妈妈呢，脸上也露出了满意的笑容。从此以后，每当我遇到难题时，总能静下心来认真分析，实在想不出来，就虚心向别人请教，直到弄懂为止。这个习惯，使我受益匪浅，学习成绩逐步提高。

我的爸爸也是一个诚实讲信用的人。他答应了别人的事情从不食言；自己做不到的事情也从不许诺。“言必行，行必果”是他的座右铭。他经常教育我，做人要诚实。有一次，我在家里玩，不小心打碎了一个爸爸特别珍爱的杯子。当时我吓坏了，心想：这下完了，爸爸肯定饶不了我。怎么办？我灵机一动，赶紧收拾残局，到时就说不知道。说干就干，我手脚麻利地收拾好，然后坐到书桌前装模作样地看起书来。*时我最喜欢的故事，这会却怎么也看不下去，心里老想着杯子的事。我想到爸爸的诚实守信，想起爸爸*时对我的教育，我对自己刚才的愚蠢想法感到羞愧，我决定大胆向爸爸承认错误。爸爸回家后，我如实向爸爸说明了情况；没想到，爸爸不但没批评我，反而还表扬了我呢。
