一、阅读材料的选取

在初中阶段，阅读能力的培养是英语教学的重要内容。在立足于教材的.基础上，我利用教材中的课文教学特别是每个单元的reading来培养学生的阅读技巧，了解基本的语法、句法知识。可以把它拿出来作为单独的一节阅读课进行指导训练，在有效利用某种方法对课文进行指导之后，我还利用课外的阅读材料来进行对学生阅读方法的巩固训练，同时还拓展了学生的知识面。课外材料的选择要根据所练阅读技巧以及学习阶段的不同，选取难易适度、长短适中、题材不同的阅读材料，作为教材内容的有益补充。利用课外阅读材料增加词汇量、巩固阅读方法、提高阅读兴趣，最终达到培养阅读能力的目的。

二、阅读方法的指导

授之以鱼，不如授之以渔。现代教育更重视培养学生的自我发展能力，这就要求教师不仅要教学生“学会”，而且还要教学生“会学”。要用各种方法教会学生“怎样学”,使学生具备学习和运用英语的能力。在阅读过程中根据不同的阅读目的和要求, 采取不同的阅读方式和策略,遵循由浅入深, 由表及里, 由具体到概括的顺序要求阅读。常见的阅读方式有:

1、略读:通过整体粗读，领略内容大意,帮助理解，为细读作准备。在进行阅读课教学时要有意识地培养学生找出主题句，抓住中心，使学生理解主题句与文章的具体事实细节的关系，没有主题句的段落就引导学生依靠段落中的衔接、句际关系来分析、推断和概括段落的大意，从而达到整体理解的目的，获得文章表达的正确的信息。

2、跳读:寻找所需信息,如年代、数字、人名、地名等把握住关键词，利用语法过渡词，语气转折词及时态等，抓住文章脉络。

3、细读： 分段细读，注意细节，注意语言结构，处理语言点，抓住主要事实,关键信息，揭示文章结构的内在联系，帮助深化理解。一篇文章是一个有机的整体，段落与段落之间存在着内在的紧密联系，而每段的内容都与主题有着很重要的联系，所以弄清文章结构上的问题，对于把握文章主题、文章大意非常重要。

4、推读：推测未直接写明的含义、因果关系以及词义猜测对学生在自学过程中遇到的新的单词、表达法或语法。引导学生学会根据上下文进行猜测，这样既提高了阅读速度又形成了一种能力，这也是英语阅读的关键所在。培养学生猜词的能力是我们在外语教学中十分重要而有意义的一个环节，但是若遇到了关键的词句且影响对文章的理解，则要提倡学生使用手中的工具书，自行查阅解决学习中遇到的困难。

三、有效的阅读提问

英语阅读教学中的课堂提问，普遍存在“三多三少”的现状，即一问一答多，独立思考少;尖子生回答多，中下游学生回答少;直接给答案多，分析过程少。因此我们要设计问题诱发学生兴趣，引导学生进行积极的思考。

1、提问设计要设阶梯，层层递进，逐级攀登，以完成教学任务。对于教学中的一些重难点，我们尽量设计一些铺垫性的问题，依据学生水平，想方设法化难为易，化繁为简，由近及远，一环扣一环，逐步解决大问题，从心理学和教育学角度看，这是符合学生认知规律的。

2、提问设计应有“度”。我们认为这个“度”必须是广义的，它应该包括提问设计的难度、深度(铺垫性设问)、亮度(讲究感情色彩，抓住学生原有知识经验和新接受信息不适应而产生的心理失衡，提出问题，打动学生的心)、跨度(抓住教材重点、难点，问得集中，施行浓缩法，加大问题容量)、角度、精度、密度等，尤其是提问设计中的难易度的把握。提问有一定难度，才能激发学生求知欲，调动学生注意力，刺激学生思维，让学生体会到智力角逐的乐趣。

3、提问设计要“巧”。在英语阅读教学的提问设计中，教师对题型的研究，显得十分重要。因为从纵向看，它必须考虑因课堂教学流程中各个时机、环节的不同而不同;从横向看，则要依据教材内容和学生实际有所区别。这就要求教师匠心独运，在“巧”字上下功夫。一般地说，①要采用多种提问方式，如投石激浪式、选择比较式、填充补续式、追踪探因式、检查整理式等。②要讲究操作调控方式。要注意提问的时机、提问的对象、提问的方式、答问的评价等。③要讲究提问的逻辑：问题要合理，问域要适度，概念要清楚，表达要明确，答案要未知。在英语教学中，提问设计的“巧” ，越来越显出其重要作用，既能节省教学时间，又能提高教学质量，此法必须持之以恒。

一、日常学习法

1、制定长远目标，明确每节课的学习任务。

根据不同学习阶段及自身能力确立一个“跳一跳才能够得着”的长远目标。有了目标就有了学习动力，有了责任感、紧迫感及努力方向。另外还要学会根据不同课型确定每节课的认知小目标，这样一开始上课，就会受到目标的激励，使大脑处于兴奋状态，才能定向注意，专心致志地去主动学习，提高学习效率。

2、争取课内外各种机会多练习英语。

语言不是教会的，而是在使用中学会的。交际能力只能在交际中得到最有效的培养。一个优秀的语言学习者应具有强烈的语言交际的欲望，应力争语言训练的各种机会。应不怕犯语言错误而被别人讥笑。

3、课前预习。

预习是个人独立的阅读和思考。它可以培养学习者快速阅读抓主旨大意、抓主要信息、依据上下文猜测词义的能力，也可以培养分析综合及归纳概括、自己发现问题及解决问题等能力。预习也像“火力侦察”，可发现疑难引起思考，一方面可促使学习者自己查阅有关资料，查阅字典，另一方面可减少听课的盲目性，增强听课效果。

4、专心上课，有心识记。

上课是学生学习的主渠道，而学好英语的关键是尽一切努力将所学的东西记住，需要时能运用自如。因此，上课时应高度集中注意力、尽量做到五到，即心到、眼到、耳到、口到、手到。应培养瞬间记忆能力，强化“有意注意”，争取在课内有目标、有意识地去识记该课的生词、短语、句型、重点句子。当接触到该记忆的内容时，应通过眼看、耳听、口念，将其迅速输入到记忆中枢，然后再复现出它的形象。在复现时快速用手指在桌上划出这个单词，或一个长句中最难记的或最重要的单饲，强迫自己在课内就能记住这节课最重要的东西。这样，使自己真正有着“这节课确实学到不少东西”的踏实感、成功感，进而激发动机，提高兴越，更有信心地去继续今后的学习。

5、勤记笔记。

课内扼要记笔记可以帮助集中注意力，理顺思路，增进记忆，锻炼分析归纳、综合概括以及快速反应能力。俗话说“好记性不如烂笔头”。笔记也为日后复习提供一个复习记忆纲要。要学好英语离不开泛读。进行课外阅读时也应扼要记些笔记，做些索引、摘录等，这对加深理解、巩固、积累知识，培养学习能力大有好处。

6、及时、经常、科学地复习。

复习是学习之母。要解决困扰学习者最大的知识遗忘问题，只有靠科学的复习。“艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线”揭示遗忘规律是先快后慢，先多后少。因而从时间安排上讲，复习既要及时又要经常。不仅在当天，而且在第二天、一周后、一月后以及就在你需要用它之前或者在考试前都应安排复习。从复习方法上讲、可采用强化复习、分散复习、集中复习，把新旧知识有机联系起来，按知识内在规律进行综合归类等复习方法，做到温故而知新，而不是简单机械复现，从而更牢固地掌握知识。

二、词汇学习法

词汇的学习和记忆是可能是你最为头疼的问题。你常会遇到下面三种困惑：一是知道单词的读音或写法，但不知道单词的意思；二是记不住单词，今天学了，第二天就忘；三是记住了单词，却不会使用。要解决这些问题，一要靠勤奋和努力，二要讲究记忆方法。

1、化整为零法

有的课文中生词较多，你总会感觉记忆有困难，你可以按照词性、对单词的熟悉程度等把单词分为几组，先记一组，逐组记忆。例如：

厨房及用具：kitchen， cupboard （注：这两个词还可采用拆字策略：kit—chen， cup—board）

调料：salt， sugar， pepper， oil餐具：fork， spoon， chopsticks

食品：wine， beer soup， cabbage， pea， butter， cheese

其他：few， a few

2、全面记忆法

所谓全面记忆，就是把单词的音、形、意结合起来，利用读音规则“听音写形”来记忆单词。要做到眼看、口念、耳听、手写、脑记，五官并用，增强记忆效果。

3、联想记忆法

联想记忆，就是在记单词的时候想象与之有关的图画或物体的形状、颜色、味道等，以帮助记忆。如eye这个单词，可以想象y是鼻子，前后两个e分别是左右两只眼睛。

4、构词法

英语中有很多词是通过合成、派生、转换词性等方法得来的，你只要记准了词根、词缀和成分词等，这些单词就不难记。例如care—less， care—ful use—less， help—less； un—usual， un—important。

5、拆字法

英语中有些长单词或难记忆的单词，你可以通过拆字法，把它分成几个部分来记。象attend这个单词，可以拆为at—ten—d，就是10点钟参加会议。再如friendship可以拆为friend—ship，就可以记为“朋友都上船”，要是朋友多得要用大轮船来载，那“友谊”可就海啦。

6、同反语义法

就是利用同义词、反义词、上下义词等词语之间的关系，对比联想记忆单词。像big—large—huge， heavy—light， food—bread；old—new， large—small， black—white等。

7、情景法

就是为单词设置一定的场景，在句子中记忆单词。像introduce，可以记住Let me introduce myself、请允许我做一下自我介绍。Let me introduce Xiao Wang to you、请允许我给你介绍小王。这种方法的好处是记单词的同时也掌握了它的基本用法，是一种非常好的学习法。

8、谐音法

英语中某些单词的发音类似汉语的某些词语，就可以利用谐音来记。例如address（地址）就可以谐音记为“A弟弟——阿姨爱死爱死你”，有趣不？象tomb这个单词，其读音/tu： m/ 很像“土墓”，进而联想到“坟墓”。又如umbrella，其发音类似于汉语的“俺不来了”。为什么不来了？因为下雨，进而联想到雨伞。门是用来做什么的？ 防盗的，所以门是door、

9、串联法

你可以把一个单词的几个意思串联起来记忆，也可以几个单词编成歌谣、警句等形式。比如，mine的意思是“我的”“矿山”，把两个意思串联成一句话，“我有矿山”，一下把两个意思都记住了；再有awkward 和hawk 两个单词，编成An awkward hawk is not better than a cock、笨鹰不如鸡，就容易记住了。

10、直观法

通过图画、影片、表格等形式，把单词的内容展现出来。这种直观的方式比单纯地通过读和写来记单词更有效。

11、对比法

通过对比法掌握人称代词（主格，宾格），物主代词（adj&n），反身代词等等。

12、最佳时间法

研究表明，一个人的最佳记忆时间是在早晨和晚上，因为这两个时间分别没有前摄干扰和后摄干扰，是记忆的最佳时间，可以用来进行单词的强化记忆。

13、及时复习法

根据“艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线”，人的遗忘规律是先快后慢，先多后少。所以要想记得牢，就应该及时复习，不只是当天复习，隔两三天还要复习，一周、一个月后也要复习。这一条法则可能是你最最应该坚持下来的哦！

三、听力学习

听力水平的提高是一个循序渐进的过程，不能操之过急。一方面需要打好基本功，另一方面要针对听力中出现的障碍（听力常见的障碍有：心理紧张；背景知识障碍；词汇障碍；语法障碍），采取一定的方法。

1、听前预测

听力练习前，可以先通过预习材料的题目、图表、所给的问题或备选项，对所要听得材料进行预测。这样，可以猜测出材料的大体内容以及训练重点，以便在听得时候有的放矢，减轻心理的紧张。另外，现在的绝大多数听力教材前都有相关背景介绍、涉及的新单词和需要掌握的句型等，这些可以在一定程度上帮助解决缺乏背景知识及有关词汇、语法造成的困难。

2、难度适中

敬要选择难度合适的材料。材料太难会令大多数人“听”而生畏，增强紧张心理；太容易则会让听者失去兴趣。应该根据你的实际水平，选择合适的、最好是“跳一跳能够摘到”的听力材料。另外，还要注意材料的多样性，不仅可以听对话、故事，还可以听歌曲、看电影、听新闻等。这样形成的听觉形象能够更牢固、持久地储存在大脑中。

3、精听和泛听结合

精听就是反复听一段录音，一直到听熟讲话者的重读、连读、弱读、语调等在语流中的变化，听熟基本词汇、常用词组和句型。精听比较费时，但有助于提高理解水平，对听力水平的提高起着至关重要的作用。泛听就是抓大意，不必听懂每个词、每个句子，只要掌握主要信息就可以了。两者结合，尽量加大“听”的输入量可以迅速提高听力水平。

Here I am sitting on a couch alone， thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart， which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time。 It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist， written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens。

The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel， but what this aloof society lacks， and what I lack deep inside。 These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals， oil that we usually mention。 They’re abstract like feelings， and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care。

Mr。 Brownlow is one such person。

become a writer and touch others with my words and like the narrator of the story, and Antoine De Saint-Exupery (whose own plane crash is said to have been the basis for the tale) it instilled within me a hope that one day the Little Prince will return and someone will let me know.

What is the meaning of this tale? Easily saying is that the tale talk about many normal things like morals and principles and values from two different but successive way as children and adults. As the narrator said you can only catch adults’ attention by describing the price of something or saying the number of something. It’s hard to make adults feel lovely by the children’s beautiful describing. That is the reason why many adults believe this tale is a tale for adults.

Being insincere and utilitarian, adults consider useful and kids think sinful. Free spirit and free heart, adults consider absurd and children believe necessary. The amazing point is that these two different beliefs are held by one species--Human. When we were young, we could see anything God want us to see. But after decades, what we could see was only something we need to see.

There are so many good things for children and their imagination. And there are not so many things for adults and their reality.

新教材每个单元都包括两大部分，那就是Section A和Section B，在每个单元的Section A中，词汇和语言都是在图片中人物头上的语言泡里，使人一目了然，不用解释和翻译学生就可以明白它们的意思和简单的功能并学会语法点的使用；使语音、词汇和语法的学习全都在语言运用中进行，防止了单纯地传授、讲解语言知识的弊端，而且趣味性强，易使学生产生学习兴趣。在同一单元的Section B中，各种活动帮助学生把在Section A中学到的内容与新的词汇、语言结合起来，使他们在新的语言练习中再次强化前面学过的语言，这样由浅入深，以旧带新，循环扩展，循序渐进，避免了机械操作的教学倾向，有利于提高学生对语言知识的运用能力，帮助学生在真实交际中学会语言知识。

二、在课堂教学中，更新教与学的方式，活化教学内容

提倡“任务型”的教学途径，是新课程标准的新的重要特点。所谓任务型教学就是“A teaching tool in which the primary focus of classroom activity is the task and language is the instrument which the students use to complete the task、”。Willis把任务型教学分成任务前、任务轮和语言焦点三个阶段。任务前阶段包括介绍话题和任务；任务轮阶段包括任务、计划和报告；语言焦点阶段包括分析和操练，以展示成果的方式来体现教学成就。

“任务型教学途径是一种以人为本的、能体现语言价值的、先进的、有效的教学途径”。“它是一种以应用为动力，以应用为目的，以应用为核心的教学途径”。“为用而学，用中学，学了就用”。任务型教学途径“不仅适用于运用语言的活动，也适用于学习语言技能和知识的活动；不但可以独立操作，而且也有利于合作学习”。

教师在教学中应增强英语教学的开放性和灵活性，更新教与学的方法，让教材为我所需，为我所用。由于教材按循环扩展进行编排，很多课文都有重复、零乱的缺点，此时，教师不应受制于教材、教参，应跳出教材、教参，大胆设计一些交际活动，使学生在语言运用中学习语言、在创设语言环境中运用语言，从而达到教材上的真正目的。

在实际教学过程中，我对每个单元的知识结构和语言编排都认真地研究，根据不同单元的特征，给学生编排了任务，在具体实施中分为：

1、前任务阶段。在这个阶段教师向学生提出任务要求，介绍话题，提示相关词语。如果是以听力或阅读为目的进行的，教师要通过一些方式对影响听力或阅读的词汇或语言现象进行讲解，帮助学生做好准备。

2、任务环阶段。这个阶段包括任务、设计和报告三个部分。学生以各种形式执行并完成任务，此阶段的主要目的是培养学生说英语的流利程度，教师不必纠错。学生在做以口头或书面形式向全班汇报时，教师要以顾问的身份帮助学生纠正口头或书面语言中的错误，力求表达准确。最后学生向全班汇报自己所完成学习任务的成果。

3、后完成阶段，这是语言焦点阶段。在此阶段学生要做一些与任务实施中听力和阅读有关的语言形式方面的分析、练习和活动。

三、树立新的教学观念

教育的本质是引导，而不是讲和练，教育要求关注每一个学生的发展。教育目标由以前的注重知识的传授转变为让学生形成积极主动的学习态度，让他们既能掌握必备的基础知识与基本技能，又能学会学习和形成正确的价值观。

新教材要求我们要面向全体学生，为学生的全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。我的理解是“全体学生”是量，“全面发展”是质。质和量一起抓，一个不能少。所以在教学过程中，是让学生“学会学习”。这个过程要经过“要我学——我要学——我能学”的阶段，由学生对教师的依赖逐渐变成学生独立学习。同时我们还应比以往的教学更加关注学生学习的情感，为学生营造宽松、民主、和谐的学习氛围。在教学过程中，教师应以宽松的态度对待学生学习过程中的错误，和学生进行平等的交流；不用训斥性、讥讽的语言，尤其对学习有困难的学生不能使用侮辱性的语言，多用鼓励性话语，多给他们语言实践的机会，少用命令式的'语言，多用建议性语言。

四、调整教学内容的顺序

教师可以根据教学的实际需要、学生的认知特点和心理特点，对教材内容进行合理调整，活用教材，重组话题，用任务型教学激发学生学习英语的兴趣，从而提高课堂效率。

1、课内调整设计任务。

课内调整是指重新调整和组合某一课中几个部分的顺序，使它们形成一个有机的整体，由这个整体引出话题（Topic），然后设计任务，达到课堂目的。

2、单元内的调整设计任务。

单元内的调整指教师根据单元内知识的逻辑顺序，对教学内容作重新调整，从而更好地体现知识的系统性和完整性。

3、单元之间的调整设计任务。

单元间的调整指依据学生的兴趣和认知特点，对各单元的顺序进行调整。如果教学时将相关内容进行整合，就能帮助学生有效地建构知识体系。对单元教学顺序的重新调整激活了学生认知的兴奋点，激发了他们对新知识的探求欲望，取得了良好的教学效果。如果在教学时，学生周围的世界发生了与教材内容相关或相似的重大事情，教师可以调整单元间的顺序，适当补充一些有关近期重要的歌坛新闻和赛事内容，结合学生周围世界发生的事情对教材内容进行补充，不仅可以丰富教学内容，而且可以提高学生的学习兴趣和学习动机。

上课的时候应该仔细听，听老师的讲课、听同学的发言。我们要听的东西有很多，包括单词的拼读、语调、重音、连读、断句等等。还记得初二的时候，课本增加了Reading部分，里面都是些长长的课文，这可让我有些头疼了。我并不是因为补理解课文内容而头疼，而是因为里面的复句太多，我时常不知道如何断句。从那以后，每次上英语课我就特别注意老师怎样断句，久而久之，自己就能够读好了。当然，我们要听的不仅仅是断句，我们要注意的一个个细节的地方。

其次，学好英语就必须要大胆地读。我们学习英语又不是为了应付一次又一次的考试，而是在于将来的应用，对自己有所帮助。英语是一项工具，一项很好应用的工具。为了能够在将来很好地应用它，我们就要多说，哑巴英语是毫无用处的。所以，我要特别强调的一点是各位同学在课堂上一定要好好利用每一次练习对话的机会，每一次发言的机会。切记要主动，不要等着老师来点你。只有大胆地、大声地说出来，才可能让老师、让其他的同学们找出你的错误，帮助你改正，有所进步。

最后，同样重要的是阅读。这里的阅读并不是停留在课本上的，而应是课外积累。

建议看剧或看电影的时候选择中英双语字幕的版本，至少看3遍，在第一遍看完剧情后，在第二遍看的时候可以放慢速度，注意字幕和话语的对应，遇到比较好的口语表达可以拿笔记下来，这样可以锻炼听力和积累口语素材；在第三遍看的时候着重听发音，可以边听边跟读，这样可以提高自己英音或美音的发音。

很多人学英语可能在阅读和写作上下很大功夫却忽略了“说”这一项。想有好的英语表达力和口才的基础就是要勇于表达。刚开始我们可以通过跟读音频和朗读短文的方式提高口语，必要的时候需要背诵一定量的短文来积累句型，这样在日常交流的时候大脑才会迅速把自己想要传递的内容转换成英语自由地表达出来，达到出口成章的效果。

在我还没有上课之前，我只是猜测科技英语的翻译仅仅只是专业单词意义的记忆。例如，平常我们看到的单词property翻译的为“财产，所有权”之意，但在科技英语的文章里却是“属性，性质”；单词freak通常我们看到的它意义为“畸形的人，奇想或奇特的或吸引器过度兴奋”，而在科技英语的一篇关于超导（Superconductivity）的文章里其意义是“反常现象”。

在上完这个学期的科技英语课后，我才发现，科技英语的学习远非我当初所想的那么简单。

首先，科技术语的形成和扩展就非常多样。它们有非科技英语转化为科技英语，通过构词法、词组构成法创造科技术语而构词法有分有词缀法（affixation）、转类法（conversion）、拼缀法（blending）、缩略法（shortening）、合成法（compounding）等。在加上伴随着科学技术的不断更新与进步，新的科技术语也在随之不断出现，所以光光就对于掌握学习科技英语的词汇部分就不那么容易。

然后，就科技英语学习的句法部分，其涉及方面也比较多。大多数外行会认为科技英语的翻译只是逻辑分析，其实科技英语的翻译不仅仅如此，它也有多方面的要求。科技英语翻译中也要有美学取向，即对翻译中对语言进行恰如其分的润饰；还有虚实互化现象，取词义引伸义化虚为实等。

总之，经过一段时间的科技英语学习，我发现科技英语远非先前所想那般简单。特别是在做完一篇科技英语的翻译之后。

我翻译的那篇科技英语文章是《超导》。坦白来说，我当初选择那篇文章只是单纯的觉得它的篇幅少而且超导的知识在高中物理课上也学过一点，但是真正在我进行翻译的过程中却并不轻松。

我一边看着原文，一边参照文后的补注，例如critical temperature，你只有看了后面的解意你才会知道critical temperature是“临界温度”的意思；有时还要在遇到一些认识但所掌握的意义与本文不相符的词在查字典，例如resistance，我所知道的就是“反抗，阻力，抵抗力”而在本篇一与题目相结合，你就会不禁困惑，而此时解决困惑的方法就是停下来转而查阅字典，找出相关的解意，在这resistance是“电阻，电阻器”。

在通读完这篇文章，查完所有的单词有关于本篇文章的意义后，我在进行句句的翻译就有发现，句句的翻译其实也很有讲究，毕竟科普类文章要求客观性、简洁性、明了性。首先，在大致用平常自己的语言翻译出整篇文章后，我又得参照一篇即使不是有关“超导”的文科普文章进行临摹它的语气及用词方式，对现有的翻译进行修改和完善。最后，在多次改进后定稿。

一篇文章翻译完成，我在回头看看这过程，感觉蛮花费精力和时间的，不容易。的确，我的最后的成品也不是很专业；但是总的来说，我自己心里还是充满成就感，同时收获也颇丰，学习到一些常见单词的科普意义，在过程中增长了一份实践经验。

学习科技英语一个学期，我个人觉得难但不很难。入门者的开始翻译之初有难且花费时间久，但是翻译完文章后，很有所获，望着自己在别人眼里不完美的成果，喜悦、成就感还是填满心房。当然，自己最了解自己的不足，心里同时也在鼓励自己下次加油，争取进步。

对于初学科技英语的我，这学期 学习的过程累并快乐着，有失望与沮丧，但也有兴奋与提高。
