为什么有些同学的学习会处于后进状态呢?学习缺乏计划性，往往是一条重要原因。
如：①放学后玩球，天不黑不散;②回家无休止地看小说、杂志、报刊;③天天去市场集邮;④天天看电视、看电影;⑤串门、聊天、打扑克;⑥听音乐、广播无止境等等，结果完不成作业，必要时只得赶抄，不能认真复习和做作业。
这种毫无计划的学习是荒.唐的，散漫疏懒，松松垮垮的，这是不可能有进步的。
2、制订学习计划的作用
(1)计划是实现学习目标的蓝图。每一个同学都应该有自己的学习目标，而目标实现，要脚踏实地、有步骤地完成。这样时间和任务的科学结合，就诞生了计划。为了实现学习目的，制订计划努力去实现它，就可以使自己离目标越来越近，使自己每一个行动都具有明确的目的。
计划是实现学习目的的蓝图。每一个想把学习搞好的同学，头脑中都应有这张蓝图。
(2)实施计划，可以磨炼意志。有了计划，把自己的行为置于计划之中，具有了明确的目的。而学习生活是千变万化的，总要千方百计地冲击你的学习计划，总要千方百计地引诱你离开计划，这就是理想的计划和实际学习生活之间的矛盾。
矛盾出现后，为了实现自己的学习计划，就要排除一切困难和干扰，在这过程中，意志品质受到了磨炼，动机受到考验。一般讲，意志品质越好，计划越容易实现，学习上的收获、进步就会与日俱增。看到这些进步，不仅心情愉快，而且可以不断增加实现计划的信心。
(3)有利于学习习惯的形成。按照科学的学习计划行事，可以使自己的学习生活节奏分明，一旦形成了条件反射，到时候睡觉，该学习时能安心学习，该锻炼时能自觉去锻炼，所有这些都成了自觉行动，日久天长，良好学习习惯就形成了。
(4)能减少时间的浪费，提高学习效率。由于计划的科学性，计划里要办的事，应当说都是有益的。一个有计划的同学知道他如果多玩一小时，多聊一个小时将会使计划的哪项任务完不成，而这项任务没完成又将会给整个学习带来什么影响。有了计划，每一步干什么都明确，不用白费时间去想下一步干什么，也不用为决定下一步干什么而游移不定。
3、怎样制订学习计划
(1)计划要全面。思想、学习、身体是相互影响的。在计划时，一定要兼顾三个方面。
计划里除了有学习的时间外，还应当有进行社会工作、为集体服务的时间;有保证睡眠的时间;有娱乐活动的时间。计划里不能只有三件事：吃饭、睡觉和学习。如果计划真是这样，那么这个计划就是片面的、不科学的。
(2)安排好常规学习时间和自由学习时间。常规学习时间就是按学校规定的学习时间，主要用来完成老师当天布置的学习任务，“消化”当天所学的知识。
自由学习时间：是指完成了老师布置的学习任务以后所剩下的归自己支配的学习时间。在自由支配的时间内，一般可做两件事：补课和提高。补课，是指弥补自己学习中的欠缺;提高是指深入钻研，开展自己的优势和特长。
自由学习时间应当成为制订学习计划的重点部分。
同学们一旦抓住了自由学习时间，将会给自己的学习和成长带来极大的好处。所以，我们应当努力提高常规学习时间的效率，增加自由学习时间，使学习的主动权掌握在自己的手里。
(3)长计划和短安排。在一个比较长的时间内，究竟干些什么，应当有个大致计划。例如，一个学期、一个学年应该有个长计划。但是实际学习生活变化很多，又往往无法预测，故长计划不可太具体。但上个月或下学期要解决哪几个问题，心中应该有数，这而第一星期干什么要具体些，每天干什么应当更具体些。这样把一较大的任务，分配到每周、每天去完成，使长计划中的任务逐步得到实现。订长计划，要在具体完成学习任务时有明确的目的。
