雅思口语婚礼范文(篇一)

You should say:

when it happened

where it happened

what the change was

and explain how you have benefited from this change.

Changing jobs

Do Chinese people change jobs very often?

Do you think changing jobs is good?

What do employers think about people who change jobs often?

What are some reasons why some people continue working at the same job for a long time?

What problems can people have when they change jobs frequently?

Do you think people should stay in the same jobs all their lives?

Young People and Change

Do you like change?

Do your family members (parents) support you when you make changes to your life?

Are young people in China today more mature than in the past?

How much time do young people in China spend with their parents?

What can young people learn from older people?

I used to sleep late at night and get up late in the morning. But my parents kept telling me it was not a healthy daily life routine and I felt uncomfortable too. Moreover, there were some friends telling me that girls could get older easily in bad daily life routine like this. So I didn’t think it was a bright idea to keep sleeping late and getting up late. I had to make a positive change.

I used to get up at 9 and sleep at 2 and here’s the scenario: I get up like a zombie with a big hang over. I used to feel dizzy and I kept bumping into walls but still felt light headache. My eyes were blurry and it felt like I was 500 pounds. However, when I get up at 7 and sleep at 11, those negative effects are all gone. I am energetic all day long and have a very scientific schedule for working, eating and entertainment. So I am in a very positive mood and manage to do all things without making mistakes. Moreover, my skin is getting better too.

you send gifts to others quite often?

kind of gifts are popular in your country?

there some special gifts in your country?

are the difference between the gifts sent nowadays and those sent in the past?

you have a child, when will you give presents to him/her?

do you feel about receiving an expensive gift?

Sample answers:

really. Only when someone invite to their home or attend some kind of celebrations will I send gifts to others. For example, when one of my friends invited me to attend her wedding, I sent her a microwave oven as a gift. And usually, Chinese prefer to give red envelope with 500 RMB to 2000 RMB to the inviters instead of sending gifts. In this way, the inviters can use this amount of money to purchase whatever she/he likes.

a common visit, we tend to send fruits, cookies and the like to the host. You know, most of people like to eat this kind of things. And we don’t want to send something the host doesn’t like. So food is always one of the best choices. For some important occasions like wedding ceremonies, we prefer to send household appliances as gifts. To conclude, Chinese are more willing to send necessities as gifts.

my point of view, red envelope seems to be one of the special gifts in China. Every time when we celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year, the elder would give red envelope to kids. Usually, within these red envelopes is money, ranging from 100 RMB to several thousand RMB. This money is called lucky money. The elder hopes the luck money can bless the kids have a lucky, happy new year.

the past, like my parents, usually sent health products to the old as gifts. In their view, these products did good to people’s health. However, notion of health has undergone great changes. People start to recognize that most of these products exaggerated their pesticide effect and some of them even have many side effects. As a result, nowadays people send other kinds of things such as fruits, cookies or household appliances as gifts.

would give presents to him/her when he she celebrate for birthdays or for some other important events. For example, when he/she graduates from university, I would send him/her a business suit as presents. You know, after graduation, he/she has to look for a job and take lots of interviews. A business suit is necessary for interviews, which might leave employers good impression of the interviewers.

depends on who send me this expensive gift. If one of my friend, not a close friend, send me an expensive gift, I would feel a little bit nervous. And maybe later, I would send something back. However, if my parents send me a MacBook, I will not feel a great burden. You know, in Chinese cultural, how much expensive gifts you send depends on the relationship between you and the receiver. Too much or too less are both improper.

are the advantages and disadvantages of living in a big city?

Shanghai left a deep impression on me. My parents occasionally allow me to go there with my older cousin. I simply adore the hustle and bustle of the place. I don’t even mind having to wear a mask everywhere. I think it’s cool, and it isn’t weird at all considering that most people do it. I particularly like coming here to shop for presents and trinkets, since you can find something to suit any wallet, age or taste. The old and the new combine on the Yuyuan market to provide the best picture of the local life you can get. It is fascinating, to browse the stores, going both through modern high-end technology hubs, and small wooden houses where generation after generation have practiced the same craft or served the same signature dish since at least a few centuries back. These are one next to the other, making the contrast that much more evident. I sometimes simply enjoy sitting on the side of the street, eating a filled glutinous rice ball and listening to the bits and pieces of different languages that the tourists are flinging enthusiastically at each other. If you ever want to see multiculturalism, this is the place to come to. A couple of days here are more than enough for me to do my shopping, take the odd visit to the Natural History Museum, and enjoy the dishes I particularly like.

kind of people like to live in the countryside?

Living in a big city means you are accessible to all the advanced facilities and infrastructures. But it also means the opportunity to be exposed to the natural environment will be reduced.

problems and benefits are there for families living in a big city?

about the children?

Families in a big city can enjoy the advanced facilities in downtown, and children can have better opportunities for education than children in rural areas. However, the problems is children and their parents get fewer chance to get some fresh air in natural places.

do you like better, the city or the countryside?

I like the city better cause the facilities and infrastructures are more advanced than those in countryside and in cities you can more opportunities to enjoy networking and recreation activities as there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

do people want to go to the city?

Because there are a lot of fancy stuff in the city. Like advanced facilities, interesting places to go with family and friends as well department stores to shop chic clothes.

are the advantages of education in a city?

Children who receive education in the city can access to the best education resources such as good teachers and advanced teaching facilities such as high-tech equipment and well-equipped labs. And they also have more opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities.

about the transportation system in cities?

Transportation system such as the metro and public buses are very convenient in big cities. Especially metro, like in Shanghai, you can go to anyplace in the city by metro. And another popular public transportation is public bicycle which has been widely promoted in Hangzhou.

there any problems with cities?

Yes, of course. First is the heavy traffic, not only for cars on the roads, but also for people who commutes everyday with public transportations such as the subway. Second is the high cost of living. It really cost one an arm and a leg to purchase a property in city like Shanghai.

Describe a product advertisement

I want to tell you an advertisement about a health product called Naobaijin. It’s such a famous advertisement that almost everybody in China can recite the lines of the advertisement.

The advertisement is very simple. An old couple tell us that they don’t need any gift for the spring festival but naobaijin. It has been showed on TV year after year, especially during the Spring Festival. In China, young people are supposed to buy presents for the older generation during Chinese New Year, but they usually don’t have many good choices except cigarette and wine. These are not good for their health. Because Naobaijin is a very healthy gift for older people, so it becomes popular. You would see it everywhere from newspapers to internet.

A lot of people might feel tired of it, but I think it is a successful advertisement although it is not creative. It’s simple to remember so everybody knows this product now. It has drawn our attentions successfully and brought fortune to the manufacturer.

there any special places for visiting in China?

Chinese people like to travel abroad?

can people benefit from from travelling?

you like to travel on your own or with your family?

you like to visit popular places or less-known places?

Sample answers:

is worthwhile to visit several regions in China. In terms of big cities, Shanghai and Beijing are a must. The Oriental Pearl Tower of Shanghai represents modernization while the Forbidden City stands for tradition. As regards small places, Guilin is known for the best landscape in China whereas Lijiang is mysterious for the legend of the suicide of a couple.

of the Chinese people do not prefer travelling to other countries. One obvious reason is that the air tickets themselves are costly, usually above ten thousand Yuan which is almost equal to a month’s salary of an average white-collar worker. Another reason is that the cultural shock, especially the language barrier, frightens those who know little about English. However, some are crazy about journeys for the sake of releasing pressures and enriching lives.

can be benefited from travelling in several aspects. The most prominent advantage is to relax one’s soul because a new environment provides a golden opportunity to escape from daily routines. Another boon is to do physical exercises through visiting a wide range of tourist attractions. More importantly, travel companions are able to get closer and they can make new friends, thanks to whom a new skill of another language of dialect can be picked up and the culture will be revealed to some extent.

prefer travelling by myself. By doing so, one can enjoy full freedom without making compromises as to what scenic spots, restaurants and hotels to go to. What’s more, travelling alone is especially appropriate for me to calm down and make big decisions in life as regards marriage or career, for there is no interruption to my inner voice.

favor those hottest travel destinations. One practical reason is that in these regions, locals are quite friendly to tourists through whom they make money. So, it is safer to stay in hotels and walk on streets there, emotionally and economically. Besides, after visiting the tourist attractions, I can have more common topics of conversation to share with my friends who may have been there too.

117. What public transport is available in your hometown? ( 5 - 8 )

There is a wide variety of transportation available in my hometown. For instance, busses follow routes all over the city. Secondly, taxis are usually available whenever you are in need of one. Of course they are more expensive than the busses, but then they are much faster and more comfortable. Lastly, there are the minibus taxis, but they are not to be recommended as they are known to drive recklessly.

118. What type of public transport do you prefer? ( 5 - 8 )

That’s an interesting question, which I must admit, I haven’t given much thought yet. Allow me to explain myself/my personal views by shortly mentioning the following points: Firstly, I would say that I prefer to travel by bus. It is convenient, comfortable, and safe. For example, there is a bus stop right in front of my hostel, from where I can travel to any destination in the city. Some people might not think that it is all that comfortable, but I don’t mind standing all the way. I don’t think anybody will disagree that it is a very safe way of traveling. I still have to see a bus involved in a serious accident in Shenyang.

119. What can be done by the authorities to encourage people to use public transport more? ( 5 - 8 )

Firstly, I believe the tariffs can be lowered. For example, if people got a discount if they bought a monthly ticket, they would use the busses more. Secondly, an advertisement campaign could be launched. To be more specific, the newspapers and TV could be used to show the public the advantages of using public transport. Lastly, I believe that the service provided to the public can be improved. For example, in the rush hours all busses should have conductors. It is a well-known fact that woman, children, and the elderly are at risk of injuries if a bus does not have a conductor in the rush hours.

120. What are the main causes of road accidents in China? ( 5 - 8 )

There are several reasons. Allow me to explain myself by shortly mentioning the following reasons. Firstly, drunken driving is a great cause of road accidents. For example, a driver cannot judge distances as well when he is drunk as when he is sober. Secondly, speeding often results in accidents. For example, a driver cannot stop his vehicle suddenly when he is speeding. Lastly, bad road conditions cause many accidents. For example, a sharp curve in the road is a hazard at night, and might cause a vehicle to leave the road and overturn.

121. Do you think the government is doing enough to prevent road accidents in China? ( 5 - 8 )

One of the aspects I could tell you about regarding this topic is that the government and local authorities could spend more money to improve the condition of our roads and highways. For example, we still too often find potholes in our roads. These cause accidents as drivers try to avoid the potholes while driving. In addition, the government could place more advertisements on TV and in the newspapers, and in that way make the country’s drivers more aware of the dangers.

it good for children to take part in the teamwork?

a leader important for teamwork?

are the disadvantages of teamwork?

one do you prefer, project-based teamwork or function based teamwork?

is necessary for people to be good team members (not leader)?

Sample answers:

, I think so. Children cannot always work alone and many tasks and projects can only be accomplished through collective efforts. Also, in the future, no matter in their college life or in their career, they may be required to work in a team. But, the problem is that children tend to be more self-centered than adults and when they are very little kids, they usually do not know how to cooperate with others. So, if chances are provided, children should take part in the teamwork, trying to help each other, figure out solutions and improve their cooperation skills.

, of course. There should be someone to make final decisions and lead the team in the right directions. Although teamwork does have the advantages like less individual responsibility, less workload and so on, it does have the problems that some thoughts might conflict with others. The whole project may reach a plateau. If a leader is elected, he/she can make decision to take whose ideas, eliminating the conflicts.

teamwork, it is hard to allocate the tasks equally to everyone. Some team members may feel unfair. For example, to writing a research paper, a team member may be responsible for collecting related information; another team member may be assigned to do some experiments. It is likely that collecting information is very difficult, while finishing the experiments is comparatively easier. So the one who searches for information may feel unfair.

prefer function based teamwork. You know, in a function based team, everyone’s duty is clear-cut. Many redundancy can be reduced in this way. For example, in the app team, there might be 2 Android engineers, 2 IOS engineers, 1 project manager and 1 editor. According the titles of these positions, you can see that this is a function based team. I think less redundancy means higher working efficiency.

think a good team member should have strong sense of responsibility. He or she has to make every efforts to accomplish his or her duties with high efficiency and quality. Thus, the leader doesn’t need to spend too much time on supervising his/her team members, taking more time to make important decisions and formulate blueprint for new projects. Thus, the whole team’s performance can be greatly enhanced.

Children are said to be “flowers of our Motherland”. In our country, children are taking very good care of. Special laws have been issued to protect children. Thousands of schools have been set up to make education available to all children. The party and the government pay due attention to the growth of children because they represent our bright future.

Nowadays, the“one child per family” policy had been practiced all over the country. So far the policy has been showing positive effects. For example, parents have more time and energy to look after their children, and as a result, children become healthier and more intelligent. However, the“one child per family” policy also has some side-effects. For instance, a number of parents have gone too far in raising their children. They try to satisfy every demand of their spoiled kids, thus turning them into“flowers in the nursery” that cannot bear any hardship or difficulty.

It is time we should discuss and study the problem of education children.

Describe an experience on good service in a shop or a restaurant.

When you received it

Where you received it

What service it is

And explain why you think it was good service.

Let me talk about the experience in an Apple Store. I had a small MacBook Pro which I had used for three years. One day in April, the machine could not work without warning. I tried various methods but couldn’t solve the problem, so I sent it to the nearest Apple Store, which was located in the Wangfujing. That shop was newly-opened and it was quite spacious and there were not many people waiting. There was a young man who took mylaptop, and checked it thoroughly. He asked several questions politely about when the machine was black screen, and what I was doing the last time the computer was fine. After a couple of minutes, he advised me that the hardware of the machine was good, and there was something wrong with the software, and it was best to reinstall the operating system, which would take me ten minutes before it was finished and reminded me that all the data in the computer would be erased. After I agreed with his suggestion, the shop assistant immediately started to install the latest operating system for me. Several minutes later, thanks to him, my laptop was reborn.

I was quite satisfied with the service the young man provided, he was obviously well-trained, and he was quite patient to fully understand what problem was with my computer and used his professional skills to deal with it. Besides, he was very proficient in his field, and seemed very reliableto me.

雅思口语婚礼范文(篇十三)

do people go to these historical places?

I think one of the reasons is that people want to learn more about the history of this place. You know this places were usually constructed under certain historical context. For example, the Great Wall was built for defending against enemies in Qin Dynasty. When you stand on the Great Wall, the tour guide might tell lots of historical stories related to it.

you tell me something about historical music or films?

There are bunches historical music or films regarding to Sino-Japanese War. Although we now live a pretty peaceful life, many of Chinese population were slaughtered decades ago in Sino-Japanese War. So these films remind us of the history of that time period. For example, the film “Don Cunrui” does show us the story of a hero who hold the explosive to bomb out a blockhouse, sacrificing himself. These heroes should not be forgot.

there any implied meaning of this building?

Bird’s Nest looks like a nest, which we can know from its name. A bird nest is the spot in which a bird lays and incubates its eggs and raises its young. So this building does have the meaning of taking good care of life. It also looks like a cradle, which do have the meaning of good wishes for future. And one of the special part of the construction is that there is no column and the whole building is connected with web structure. I guess it means that something amazing might happen in this sports arena.

should government do if someone is against the proposal to restore the historical buildings

I think government should try to increase these people’s awareness of protecting historical buildings. You know these buildings are usually of long histories, some of which can even be dated back to hundreds years ago. So it is common that these places need certain degree of restoration, or they might collapse or have similar problems. So the government should, first, tell those who against the proposal some possible problems these historical buildings are facing now. And, to convince them, government should also show these people the cultural and historical value of these buildings.

everyone think old buildings are important?

No, not everyone. Some of us might think these buildings are shabby. Usually they are not well-quipped and the design is always outdated. That’s why many people living close to Nanjing Rd. in Shanghai always hope government can implement house demolition in that region. You know, they are currently living in very old buildings, having to share restrooms and kitchens with others. Many of them choose to move out and rent out these old buildings to those from rural areas.

your perspective, do Chinese like visiting History Museum?

Not really. Take myself as an example. I am a person who are not interested in history. You know, when I was a student, I always fell asleep in the history class. So, it is likely for me to visit a “History” Museum even if it is free. And many of my friends do not have any interests in history, either. People are more willing to visit some other kinds of museums such as Shanghai science and technology museum. In this museum, people can not only learn some knowledge regarding to animals, astronomy and the like, but also can experience some interesting facilities.

kind of buildings should government protect and preserve?

I think government should protect and preserve the buildings of historical and cultural values. You know, these buildings can be great tourist attractions, where people can learn more about local history and cultural. My middle school used to organize a visit to the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. During this visit, we knew about the origin of the Communist Party of China, some interesting historical stories and so forth. In addition, these buildings can be a great revenue source by selling admission tickets or souvenirs.

people pay to visit it?

Yeah, I think so. You know preserving these buildings requires a large amount of capital investment, since they are usually built long time age and are in poor physical conditions. More efforts and money are need to maintain or renovate these old buildings. And by selling admission tickets, government can gain enough revenue for maintenance.

government pay for everyone?

No, of course not. I think government should pay for those disabled. This group of people are usually of poor financial condition and cannot afford to visit these buildings. However, for ordinary citizens like me, the ticket price like 50 RMB is not a problem at all. You know, the average salary of Shanghai has over 8000 RMB/month. So, the government doesn’t need to pay for us. Of course, some discounts should be offered, which might encourage us to take more visits.

are the differences between the weddings now and the ones in the past?

are the differences between Chinese weddings and foreign weddings?

will people celebrate their anniversary?

much do people usually spend on weddings? Who pays for it?

Sample answers:

in the past are mostly traditional. The brides would usually wear a red wedding dress and bowing to the heaven and the earth is one of the most important parts of the ceremony. While in modern weddings, brides will wear white wedding dress with laces and organza. And people basically prefer a western style weddings rather than Chinese traditional style weddings.

Chinese weddings, the brides would usually wear a red wedding dress and bowing to the heaven and the earth is one of the most important parts of the ceremony. And in western weddings, brides will wear white wedding dress with laces and organza, and the ceremony is usually held in a church.

in China do not usually celebrate anniversary, especially for people at my parents’ age. However, the young like to celebrate their anniversaries and they usually go out for a nice dinner and buy presents for their spouse to celebrate.

wedding ceremony can cost a family a lot. People usually hold their wedding ceremony in a upscale hotel and they will invite all their relatives and friends to the wedding ceremony, and they need to pay for the food for everyone and the rent fee of the place. Also the flowers and tools that are used to decorate the place are expensive.

Public Bus is a very common transportation system in our country and the majority of the commuters in cities and urban areas use this transportation system. There are two types of public bus system in our country: short distance buses and long distance buses. There are many governments owned bus service system which is available mostly in metropolitan system. There are varieties of sizes in these buses ranging from 10 seats to as many as 100 seats and even double-decker buses as well.

People from all classes and economic conditions use these buses and who do not own private cars, most of the times use this transportation system. Since there are cheap and expensive buses based on the facilities allowed, people with low earnings mostly use the non-AC, small buses. While the people with better economic conditions use air conditioned and bit expensive services.

This is the most convenient transportation system in our country in terms of expenses and availability. Hiring taxi or private cars cost a lot and they are not always available. So people mostly depend on the public bus transportation system which offers a very low fair and are always available for almost all of the destinations.

I mostly use this bus transportation system for short and long distance travels and communications and I find it very handy. Thought there are some disadvantages of this transportation system, I would say still this is the best way for commuters to more to different places in my city.
