邀请书用语上比请柬随意,而且要求有较详细的邀约内容,所以采用书信体的格式。邀请书通常由标题、称呼、正文、结尾和落款五部分组成。

(一)标题

邀请函的标题一般有两种方式构成。

1.单独以文种名称组成。

2.由发文原因和文种名称共同组成。

(二)称呼

称呼要顶格写被邀请的单位或个人的名称或姓名。也就是要写明主送对象。如“***大学:”、“**同志:”

(三)正文

邀请函的正文通常要求写出举办活动的内容、活动目的、活动时间、活动地点、活动方式、邀请对象以及邀请对象所作的工作等。活动的各种事宜务必在邀请书中写清楚、写周详。若附有票、券等物也应同邀请书一并送给主送对象。

若相距较远,则应写明交通路线,以及来回接送的方式等。其它差旅费及活动经费的开销来源、及被邀人所应准备的材料文件、节目发言等等也应在正文中交等清楚。

(四)结尾

结尾处要求写上礼节*的问候语。如“恳请光临”、“致以敬意”等等。
