摘要：毕业论文是学生综合素质和综合能力的集中体现和反映。应该把英语专业毕业论文写作课程的设置与论文指导教师的针对性辅导相结合，以提高学生的论文写作能力。

毕业论文写作是考查学生综合能力、评估学业成绩的一个重要方式。完成毕业论文的写作与答辩是学生取得毕业资格、获得学士学位的必备条件。为了更好地规范高师院校英语专业毕业论文写作的教学与指导，我们以长春师范学院英语专业2009届学生

为研究对象，探讨了毕业论文写作课程的设置及教师的指导策略。

一、英语专业毕业论文写作课程的设置

《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》中并未规定高校是否需要开设毕业论文写作课程，因此鲜有高校把毕业论文写作纳入教学计划中。但从实际情况来看，开设毕业论文写作课能够有效地提高学生毕业论文撰写能力，并且培养其独立思考、探索的科研能力。我校2009―2011三年开设了毕业论文写作课程，笔者仅以此为基础得出一些经验：

1.课时安排

毕业论文写作能力的提高绝不是一蹴而就的，在二年级与三年级开设写作课时，教师可以渗透毕业论文写作要求，安排学生查阅资料、写学期论文等。在此基础之上，我们把毕业论文写作课程与教师单独指导相结合。

2.教学内容

毕业论文写作课往往涉及如下内容：论文选题、开题报告、文献综述、文献检索、写作技巧、专题写作、研究方法、论文格式、论文修改、常见错误评析、论文答辩及注意事项等。近年来，我国出版了很多关于英语专业本科毕业论文写作方面的专著与教材，但考虑到此门课程的实用性及学时的局限性等因素，任课教师需要自行选择与整理，总结出适合所教学生学习程度的教学内容，使学生在最短的时间内快速、清晰地掌握论文写作要领。

3.教学方法

此门课程强调培养学生的实践能力，因此教学形式应该是教师讲授与学生操练相结合。教师讲完每章节内容后，布置相关任务要求学生课后完成，之后再根据其完成情况进行总结，或是让学生以小组形式进行讨论，互相评价与修正。同时，教师也应该提供优秀论文与问题论文供学生参考、借鉴，让学生从评论者的角度去发现问题、解决问题。这样，通过讲解可以引导学生开展下一步的工作，通过实践又能使学生避免不必要的错误。

4.考核办法

本课程以考核学生的平时任务完成为主，辅以期末考试考查理论知识及对知识的实际应用。平时的任务形式包括小组活动、资料搜集、实验设计等，而期末考试可以以开卷形式进行或是要求学生事先准备，写与所选题目相关的文献综述、论文各部分，如引言等。

二、教师的针对性指导

论文写作课只是为学生建构了毕业论文写作的大体框架，而具体的实施则需要指导教师给予学生有针对性的辅导。两者应同步进行，相辅相成。

1.毕业论文的选题直接关系到论文的完成质量

在论文写作课初步介绍完论文选题之后，教师可以给出和自己研究方向紧密相关的论文题目供学生选择。这样，教师可以给予学生更多的帮助，同时也可以让学生参与到自己的研究中，做到教学相长。

2.指导学生科研方法，培养学生科研能力

教师还应该着重注意指导学生查阅资料，了解最新的研究动态，避免学生思路闭塞以致题目陈旧、没有研究价值。另外，由于专业特点，很多学生选择了英语教学法，但他们的论文往往只限于文献研究，并不能真正与教学相联系。教师可以指导并帮助学生结合论文课上所讲的科研方法，设计试验，做调查分析等，真正培养学生的研究能力。

3.要加强对毕业论文的监督力度

教师要对学生进行诚信教育，强化指导与监控，力求避免抄袭现象。同时，也要督促学生合理规划时间，及时与老师沟通，保质保量地完成论文撰写工作。

毕业论文写作是大学英语专业毕业前最后一项也是极为重要的一个教学环节，它的顺利完成需要学生、学校和教师三方面的共同努力。我们希望规范的教学及指导能帮助学生养成科学的研究态度，形成严谨的学术作风，为他们将来的工作打下良好的基础。

Today, the title of my paper is On the Network Novels. In recent years, the network literature is developing rapidly. Network novel is one of the fast of them. In the middle schools, high schools and even universities, there is no lack of network novels' addicts. For the above facts,I select the subject of “on the network novels” as the title of my paper. Then, I will show it to you. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into four parts, as the concept of network novels, the classification of their authors, the development of network novels and the prospects of that.

The first part, the definition. Its concept can be divided into the generalized and the narrow. And it can also be divided into boys’ and girls’ in another way.

The second part, the classification of their authors. Generally speaking, there are four kinds of authors. The first kind is some people who have favor of literature, they are writing but not for fame. Then, there is some one has favor for literature and also be for fame. The third kind is some people who have explicit goals at the beginning of his writing. And the last kind are some people who just want to express their view, their viewpoint and their feeling with no desire of being published. They take up the most of the authors.

The third part, the development. The network novels’ development can not separate form the development of the net and the literature websites. Its developing process may be divided into three stages approximately. The first stage is from 1996 to 2000. This time's literary work often did not strive for (were also not aware of) the fame and fortune, and moreover received the control of tradition. The second stage is beginning of 21st century, mainly contains 2001 and 2002. In this period, the whole network presented the situation of “chaos”. The third stage is from May, 2003 and continues until now. In this period, many schools come into the world, and when a school became a hit there must be many people mimic it.

The last part, the forecast. Looking from the internal strength pattern, the outstanding writers in our country mainly hold one kind of critique and the pessimistic manner to the network novels at present. Part five then explains in detail the causes of the gothic style in this novel: patriarchal oppression, the myth of southern ladyhood and Emily’s attitude towards love. Finally, in the conclusion, the author summarizes the previous parts and emphasizes the significance of the argument of the thesis again.

本人在指导与修改我院商务英语专业学生毕业论文时感触更深。且不说论文水平的高低和学术价值，就论文的基本格式和语言的表述性都出现了很多错误。有些同学甚至在基本的语法知识和词汇选择上都出现了很大的错误。本人结合多年的教学实践和理论学习，就英语专业学生该如何写好毕业论文提出以下几点看法：

一、学生必须充分认识到毕业论文写作的重要意义。

很多学生忽视了毕业论文的重要性和现实意义，这是其写作质量不高的主要原因之一。

毕业论文是大学生在校期间向学校所交的最后一份书面作业。英语专业学生在修完一般英语写作课程后，初步熟知和掌握了基本的写作要素和技巧，这时为了深化写作内容，进一步提高文字表达能力，必须开始进行学术论文写作。毕业论文写作在巩固了词的各种意义、搭配、用法、词序，句子的定义、结构、种类、用法，即写作的基本要素和技巧的同时，还能培养初步的研究、分析和总结问题的能力。这就为学生在日后进一步从事相关学科的研究工作打下了坚实的基础。

《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》指出，“毕业论文是考察学生综合能力、评估学业成绩的一个重要方式”。毕业论文写作的优劣、质量的高低是决定学生能否顺利毕业或可否被授予学位的重要依据。因此大学生必须重视和认真撰写毕业论文。

二、认真选题和收集资料。

首先，在导师的指导下认真选题，审定论文题目。选题要遵循以下原则：

（1）、具有研究价值；

（2）、具有现实意义或理论意义；

（3）、本人在该领域是否具有扎实的基本功和理论基础；

（4）、本人是否感兴趣并掌握一定的相关资料或初步研究成果。确立选题之后，撰写论文的第一步就是确定一个恰当的题目，然后围绕中心进行其他各项工作。题目大小要得当（避免题目“过大”或“过小”。在字数一定的基础上题目“过大”，论文难免失之于肤浅；“过小”，问题不易展开，完不成规定的内容。），难度适中，力求新颖。

再次，在导师的指导下正确撰写提纲。在对资料进行整理分析的基础上，逐步形成自己的观点，然后根据逻辑关系对这些论点、论据，素材进行整理，构思论文的框架，明确论文的层次，拟定论文提纲。

三、在导师的指导下制定撰写毕业论文的具体方案，比如开题报告。

毕业论文开题报告是指学生就所拟毕业论文论题撰写的关于该论题的研究方案。毕业论文开题报告应在对国内外相关论题的资料收集、比较、分析基础上，明确本论文所研究的问题及其所具有的学术意义和预期目标，意在使论文指导教师和其他论题审核人相信该论题具有学术研究意义或价值，同时，也相信学生有能力实现预期研究目标。

古语说的好“凡事预则立，不预则废”。选题开题是选题实质性研究工作的开始，关系到学生研究的方向和进程。因此，学生必须按照学校开题报告的内容要求和格式规范认真撰写开题报告并进行答辩。

四、论文的起草与修改。

通过开题报告答辩后就可以进入论文的起草阶段了。论文的起草必须由本人独立完成，不准找人代笔，不准抄袭他人作品或照搬他人观点。论文应层次分明、论点突出，论述充分。按计划在规定的最后期限前将初稿交予指导教师批阅。在收到指导教师的修改意见后对论文认真进行修改，直至指导老师同意定稿。因此，学院必须注重完善学校关于毕业论文工作的制度建设。制定相关文件，做好毕业论文写作、答辩与成绩评定工作。开设毕业论文写作指导课，或开办讲座，为学生配备优秀的指导老师。

五、论文写作应注意的问题

（一）引用的问题

一个新概念或新理论的产生和出现都是有其历史传承的，有其历史的脉络可循。我们撰写论文离不开前人已做的研究或相关论述，他们的研究发现是我们进一步阐述的基础，因此有必要进行文献引用。引用与抄袭同样都是一种写作手段，但其性质却迥然不同。前者属于著作权法规定的合理使用，后者则属于违法侵权行为。只要文章中出现一处文献引用，在文后参考文献（Bibliography）部分务必按格式列出该文献的完整信息。目前英语界还是沿用美国“现代语言协会”（MLA）的原文引用格式。

（二）论文语言的表述性问题

常用的英文标题有四种结构：

First of all, I want to talk about the purpose and significance of the graduation thesis design.

Songci,together with Tang poems and Ming and Qing novels, is an indispensable style of classic Chinese literature. It marks the peak of literature of the Song dynasty and makes agreat influence on the development of Chinese literature and culture. Being an invaluable partof classic Chinese literature,ci poems have always been a heated subject of scholars at home and abroad. However,rare studies have been undertaken on translations with regard to aesthetic motivations behind, or from the perspective of semiotics.

In this thesis, with the actualization of the aesthetic motivations as my thematic concern,I will examine the translation of ci poems by Xu Yuanchong from the semiotic perspective,which provides a unique angle to help increase translators' sensibility to some literary significance during the translation process. A detailed study of the translation will be made at three levels: phonological,syntactic and semantic, with the pragmatic aspect as the underlying background. It is hoped that this thesis will make a pioneering attempt to investigate the translation of ci poems from the semiotic perspective.

Secondly, I want to talk about the structure and main contents of this paper.

Witfi an aim to make a systematic investigation of ci poems translation from a semiotic perspective, this thesis is composed of six chapters.

Chapter 1 is the introduction. It tries to introduce ci poems and translation, the purpose,significance and the research methodology of the thesis from a general view.

Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 lay the theoretical foundation of the thesis. Chapter 2 attempts to present a critical overview of quasi-semiotic and semiotic approaches to translation in China and abroad. It also examines the semiotic difference of literary language, which points to the semiotic characteristics of literary tr出islation.

Chapter 3 introduces briefly the motivation theory, inclusive of the theory of aesthetics and the aesthetic motivation behind the literary language, especially poetry. It examines the possible approaches to actualize aesthetic motivations in poems.

Chapter 4 explores the semiotic perspectives to maintain the aesthetic motivation at three different levels,namely phonological, syntactic and semantic behind linguistic choices in literary language, and all are discussed in the pragmatic context. Respectively, phonological motivation includes rhyme,rhythm, onomatopoeia, reduplication, shuangsheng and motivation consists of information-focus, theme-rheme structure, syntactic repetition,series and indeterminancy. Semantic motivation includes four parts: metaphoricity,nonreferentiality, intentionality and intertextuality.

Chapter 5 is the examination and evaluation of Xu Yuanchong's translated versions of cipoems of Tang and Song Dynasty from the above three levels.

Chapter 6 gives a brief conclusion to the whole thesis.

Finally, I want to talk about the deficiency existing in this paper.

This thesis examines the translation of ci poems by Xu Yuanchong from the semiotic perspective with the actualization of the aesthetic motivations, which provides a unique angle to help increase translators' sensibility to some literary significance during translation , there still exist obvious limitations in the study. Although the study is claimed to be semiotics,some linguistic ideas are adopted to conduct a comparative analysis of the translated versions because semiotics cannot provide enough analytic tools to solve specific translation problems. We have resorted to semiotic rationale or theoretical perspective in the study of phonological motivation and syntactic motivation. As for the study of semantic motivation, the advantage of semiotics as theoretical and explanatory is manifested.

The topic of my thesis is 《Angela carter to mythology research - the female archetype in “new eve passion”, for example》. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons.

Angela Carter (1940-1992) is an outstanding feminist writer whose influence on Britishwomen's writing was “pivotal in this opening and transformation” [“23]. The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. In a survey conducted by Cristina Bacchilega and Danielle M. Roemer [2],Carter is one of the most commonly taught women writers on North American programs. She has endowed us with an amazingly large number of legacies in her comparatively limited life, setting foot in various fields such as novels,short stories,children stories, dramas, non-fictions and so on. The acute observations with great insights,as well as the devastating wit and poignant mockery in Carter's works have made her stand out as an iconic figure in English literature. Many scholars and critics have devoted themselves to the research on Angela Carter from many perspectives,including gothic, magic realism, feminism,post-modernism and so on. As a prolific writer who is always ready to blur the boundaries between different genres, Carter has left us a wonderful world to delve into.

With the emergence of western women's movement as well as the development of feminist criticism in the 1960s,the feminist approach has become a potent weapon for those who are concerned with the emancipation and legal rights of women. Though women's social status has considerably improved due to the contribution made by countless predecessors,the fundamental problem still lingers on. Carter, with her versatile and avant-garde reputation, is best known as a feminist writer. Concerning the dilemmas and predicaments faced by women nowadays,it is very necessary for us to probe into her insightful and penetrating reflections on femininity as well as the relationship between two genders. The Passion of New Eve, as one of Carter's most representative works, is of great value in the research of her feminist thoughts and propositions.

Next, is my paper outline. In the main part of this article, I put it into five parts.

Chapter one is an introduction to the thesis, covering the research background, theobjective and significance as well as the organization of the thesis.

Chapter two presents a broad picture of Angela Carter's life and her works, as well as the background information about The Passion of New Eve. It also reviews previous studies on Angela Carter and her works at home and abroad, summarizing achievements in the past and pointing out new directions in the future.

Chapter three conducts a retrospective study on feminism and archetypal criticism. The author attempts to work out the origin and development of feminism, demonstrating the important role feminism plays in Carter's life. Then is the history of archetypal criticism,as well as those classic female archetypes in mythology. By exposing”temptresses“ as mere victims rather than symbols of viciousness. Carter condemns the oppression and exploitation of women in a patriarchal society. ”Mother“ in Beulah serves as a severe satire on those mother goddesses in mythology. Carter smashes the legend by revealing the surgically-made essence of mother and the patriarchal values lurking behind her alleged matriarchal kingdom, warning against the peril and impracticality of extremist her most convincing example goes to Eve, the most important female character in the Bible, Her transformative journey from a chauvinist to a real woman in the story illustrates that gender, rather than a hereditary feature, is the result of social influence and unremitting imitations. Carter concludes the story with proposing ”androgyny“ as a solution to the current problems,implying that mutual respect and understanding is the only way to achieve the harmony between the two genders.

Chapter five comes to a general conclusion, summarizing the limitations of the theses as well as some suggestions for further study.

1 、高校英语专业教育的现状与问题

我国第三次全国教育工作会议后，提出了教育改革的方针，推进素质教育的理念。如何贯彻实施素质教育则成为现代高等院校的主要问题，我们从高校英语专业的教育现状来分析。

一方面，现代社会的不断发展，要求有更多有能力、有素质的人才；第二方面，现代的教育体系，大部分依然是以往的传统教学模式，对学生进行知识的灌输。使得培养出来的大学生与实际中需要的人才，格格不入。为了解决这一个对立的矛盾，就要从其根源上来找，传统的英语教学，主要是培养学生的应试考试能力，很少注重对他们的听、说以及与其它学科之间的联系。这样就会使得学生的知识面太窄，不能获取更多的知识视野。学生毕业后，可能会面临很大的就业压力。出现与生活的脱节现象，所以针对这种情况，高等院校必须进行改革，提升学生的个人综合素质[1]。

2 、基于美式教育下，英语专业素质教育的改革方向

在美式教育启发下，我们要在高等院校实施素质教育，首先就要改变教育观念，作为英语教师，必须适应当前社会的发展，结合学生毕业要面临的就业问题，对现代的本科英语教学的模式进行分析，重新定位教学目标和内容，按照素质教育要求的目标，对学生进行教育。重点培养学生的英语语言的表达能力，对外国等国家的风俗文化有所了解，锻炼自己各方面的才能，成为一个具有多种技能的复合型人才。而在这许多的内容中，培养学生的专业素质是最主要的方面。

学生的英语专业素质应该在教师传授知识的时候，进行培养，多加强对学生的自主学习能力和思维方面的训练，解决学生的分析问题的能力，和实践操作技能方面的能力，增强学生的学习自信心和学习兴趣。

在教学课堂中，只要把学生作为课堂生活中的人，才能发现学生具有的潜质，我们要懂得去爱护、相信学生，不断去鼓励、感悟、激起学生，让他们去自主探究、合作、讨论，这样的课堂学习，让师与生的心、灵都共享学习的快乐，这样的学习才是真正的学习，而学生就能够主动、参与、活动[2]。

（1）师生共建教学"民主"的氛围

对于"对话"，在两者之间没有贵、贱、高、下、大、小所区分，以前的老师总是带有架子、带有命令的语气，这样往往会降低学生的学习的尽头，使"对话"中止。因此，"对话"所需具备的必要条件为"民主、平等"。

为了建立一个民主的教学环境，对于教师，首先：放低自己"教师"的样子，把真实、真诚的一面和学生进行谈话，减少学生的顾虑，就使得他们愿意和老师说真话，愿意和老师说自己的隐私话。

（2）在课堂上，让学生感受"我能行"

对于学生学习的过程，即发现、提出、解决问题的过程，而问题，往往通过学生自己找出，也鼓励学生自己去解决。让学生通过尝试的`方式去解决，使得问题得到答案，如果存在一时解决不了的，我认为也是合理的，对于教师，避免急于求成，即代替学生去解决，正确的做法是积极疏、引、拔，通过各种方法来开导、鼓励学生，让他们去分析、解决存在的疑问。初始，孩子们可能会认为不知道问啥问题，也找不出什么问题，或说不出问题更不符合主题要求，缺乏实用性，这时，教师要多进行演示，同时也去启发学生的思维的定格高校英语课程的教学不仅是语言知识的输入，更重要的是学生语言能力、表达能力、交往能力的提高和辩证性思维的培养，使学生最终成为独立的学习者。不断加强对大学生的社会适应能力、沟通能力和创新方面的培养，为以后可能会从事的职业做基础。

3 、素质教育对高校英语教师的新要求

在美式教育启发下，要想实现素质教育，最根本的还要加强对教师的个人素质的提升。因此，在具体的操作中，培养高质量的师资队伍要提高三方面的能力和水平：

（1）育人方面的能力。

高校教师要不断进行对学生的培养，树立自己高尚的人格，作为学生的表率，在道德修养方面潜在的引导学生，达到一个较好地目的。

（2）学习能力。教育人员和学生之间本来应该是一个统一体，没有什么界限的，作为一名老师，也要进行不断的学习，扩展自己的知识面，只有这样，才能适应现代社会的发展。作为英语专业的老师，就必须及时地对自己的知识方面的能力进行提高。适应当前改革的需要和社会的发展。

（3）创新能力。

要不断培养学生的创新能力，只有创新，才能为将来的社会发展做出自己的贡献。对于学生的创新精神的培养，教师要在课堂上实施启发的思维，引导学生的思维能力朝着既定的目标前进。

综上，素质教育的实现，必须要教师具有专业的素养，同时也要有广博的知识能力，逐渐跟上时代的脚步，发掘学生的潜力。

4 、转变教学模式，实施互动式教学

在美国，他们在英语专业的教育方面，都是进行相对较好的教学模式上比较成功，因此，要想比较成功的进行素质教育，教师就要从教学模式上上功夫。在具体的高校英语专业教学实践中，互动教学模式主要可以通过如下教学手段来实现：

（一）从教学内容上，教师应该改变以往的讲授为主的教学方式，改为利用先进的多媒体进行辅助教学，比如说，对于一些听力材料，可以利用播放多媒体视频的方式，让学生在图文并茂的中，学会知识[3]。

（二）尽可能多地用英语授课，与学生进行互动交流。

（三）合理设计课堂问题，引发学生思考。

设计问题的重点要放在问题方面，大家都知道，教师作为课堂的引路人，有着很大的作用，因此，在设计问题的时候，一定要考虑全面，这样，巧妙的问题能够帮助学生更加好的应对知识，提升自己的知识能力。在设计问题的形式时，可以采取提问的方式、也可以采取分组交流的方式，还可以转变成一节辩论会的形式，总之，不管是哪种模式，目标都是一样的。

（四）开展英语第二课堂活动。

学生在课上学到的英语专业知识毕竟是有限的。所以，教师还可以在课余的时间，组织学生成立一个英语社团，在这里，爱好的英语的学生可以参加在社团内部的活动，比如，英语广播，英语演讲比赛等，聘请资深的外国专家，来我国进行他们当地的一些趣事的报告，增加学生的知识面。

总之，通过上面的分析，学生是课堂的主人，教师是引导者，在整个学习的过程中，教师要时刻保持引导者的身份，对于学生进行整体的关注，引导学生逐步完成教学任务和计划。在相互的交流讨论中，不断完善教学的各个目标。培养学生的道德、思维能力的发展。增强文化背景知识，掌握地道的英语，为日后进行实际英语语言交流打下坚实的基础。

5、 结论

综上所述，基于美式教育的启发之下，现代社会提出的素质教育，我国的教育机构已经开始对此进行了加强，面对现代社会的就业压力，我们对学生的培养也在不断的扩大，逐渐导入迎合就业的方向上发展。大学生应该具有多方面的优秀才能，比如说，个人综合能力、修养、表达能力，思维能力等，都是一个合格的人才，这样，才能在未来的社会中，立于不败之地。面对残酷的就业考试，才能脱颖而出。

一、引言

中国加入WTO后，与世界各国联系更为密切，而英语越来越发挥着不可或缺的作用。但现在，过多的人员涉入英语这一行业，导致大批的英语毕业生难以就业。对英语专业学生的就业方向以及社会对英语专业学生需求进行了相应的调查，了解一些行情，有利于英语专业学生更好就业。

二、采访调查分析

在对省内某所著名高校的就业指导老师和相关就业负责人的采访中，获得一手就业资料。英语专业在此高校细分为英语语言文学、翻译、英德双语方向，近几年英语专业各个方向学生就业形势日益严峻，此外，老师提供资料显示，近几年英语专业学生就业与专业不对口的问题日益突出，这也严重影响就业率的高低，也因此很多学生选择读研或者出国留学。

三、问卷的数据分析

问卷结果显示，大家对英语专业不同方向就业问题认识很局限，只有一部分人能够准确定位英语专业各个方向以及其特点，极少数人能够清楚英语专业相关的工作类型以及不同工作类型的要求和特点。参与问卷调查的同学中，大一占；大二，大三，大四。大三大四学生面临实习以及就业等问题，对此课题了解较深，其占据比例很大有一定合理性。被调查者中英语类所占比例为，非英语类，因为非英语专业部分同学现在已经或者意向从事英语相关工作，所以其占据一定比例，存在合理性。

英语专业学生就业方向主要有国际贸易方向，旅游方向和师资方向。其中，国际贸易方向提供国际贸易业务人员、商务翻译、商务助理等方面的职业。旅游方向主要涉及英文导游及涉外宾馆的接待及管理人员、外企业高级文员、外向型企业等工作岗位。对于师资，幼儿园、小学、中学、职业高中的教师都是可选的。具体分析问卷得出，的问卷参与者不清楚上述英语专业相关就业方向，对于各个就业方向具体细节了解的更是甚微。

关于英语专业的重要性问题，的人都觉得英语在社会上的地位不太重要，因为很多学而不精使英语成为一个弱势专业（只要会简单地说写），而的人认为英语专业很重要，放眼英语国际化高端职业，国际化的高端英语人才还是十分急缺的。大部分人认为现在人才市场上对英语需求的是听说读写综合能力，其中有23%的人认为翻译（口译和笔译）是很需要的。80%的学生认为较适合英语方向的是外贸行业，次之是酒店和旅游。

关于工作地和具体工作细节问题，近年来部分沿海城市和大城市日益趋于国际化，大型企业，外资企业，日益成为毕业生向往的就业目标，特别是北京上海等国际化大都市。企业在工作中会有大量的场合要接触到英文文件、材料、资料以及直接和外方进行业务上的接触。甚至有些公司会在公司的日常文档中要求直接使用英文，所以现在高水准的企业对英语实际应用水平的要求是相当高的。参与问卷设计的大三大四学生中，英语相关工作的实习地点和工作地点多数在沿海城市或者国际大城市，以期获得高档次、宽领域、多方位的工作培训和工作经验。

关于薪资要求问题，的人对第一份工作的薪酬希望是2500元到3000元之间，其次期望3000元到4000元，10%期望4000元以上，几乎没人期望是2000元以下。个人能力、社会需求和大众趋势，都影响问卷参与者对薪酬的期望值。

目前我国有3亿多人在学英语（专业和非专业），约占全国人口的四分之一。专家推测，再过几年，我国学英语的人数将超过英语母语国家的总人口数。规模如此庞大的人群在学英语，可实际应用水平到底如何呢？据国家外文局调查，目前我们从事同声传译和书面翻译的高端外语人才依然严重缺乏，能够胜任中译外工作的高质量人才缺口高达90%。大部分人对于自己能胜任的职位没有考虑过，都认为船到桥头自然直。约80%的学生很重视大学的专业课学习，少数人只求一般或者能过就行。由此可见，学习的氛围还是很浓烈的。

一个人英语水平的高低，要看他的能力和实力。此外面对日益严峻的就业现状，英语专业学生更加要努力提高自身的素质去适应社会的需要，学习外语之人虽多，但是高端翻译人才和国际化高尖端英语人才依旧紧缺，因此学生更要去重视英语，提高自身水平。在社会提供这么多机遇的条件下，更要努力完善自己的英语水平，为社会贡献一份力量。

You and I will work hard to welcome any topic of my thesis is 《Angela carter to mythology research - the female archetype in “new eve passion”, for example》。 I choose this as my topic due to the following Carter （1940-1992） is an outstanding feminist writer whose influence on Britishwomen's writing was “pivotal in this opening and transformation” [“23]. The year 2014 represents the 22”^ anniversary of Angela Carter's death. In those twenty-two years, her works have been widely taught internationally and brought about much critical debate. In a survey conducted by Cristina Bacchilega and Danielle M. Roemer [2],Carter is one of the most commonly taught women writers on North American programs. She has endowed us with an amazingly large number of legacies in her comparatively limited life, setting foot in various fields such as novels,short stories,children stories, dramas, non-fictions and so on. The acute observations with great insights,as well as the devastating wit and poignant mockery in Carter's works have made her stand out as an iconic figure in English literature. Many scholars and critics have devoted themselves to the research on Angela Carter from many perspectives,including gothic, magic realism, feminism,post-modernism and so on. As a prolific writer who is always ready to blur the boundaries between different genres, Carter has left us a wonderful world to delve the emergence of western women's movement as well as the development of feminist criticism in the 1960s,the feminist approach has become a potent weapon for those who are concerned with the emancipation and legal rights of women. Though women's social status has considerably improved due to the contribution made by countless predecessors,the fundamental problem still lingers on. Carter, with her versatile and avant-garde reputation, is best known as a feminist writer. Concerning the dilemmas and predicaments faced by women nowadays,it is very necessary for us to probe into her insightful and penetrating reflections on femininity as well as the relationship between two genders. The Passion of New Eve, as one of Carter's most representative works, is of great value in the research of her feminist thoughts and , is my paper outline. In the main part of this article, I put it into five one is an introduction to the thesis, covering the research background, theobjective and significance as well as the organization of the two presents a broad picture of Angela Carter's life and her works, as well as the background information about The Passion of New Eve. It also reviews previous studies on Angela Carter and her works at home and abroad, summarizing achievements in the past and pointing out new directions in the three conducts a retrospective study on feminism and archetypal criticism. The author attempts to work out the origin and development of feminism, demonstrating the important role feminism plays in Carter's life. Then is the history of archetypal criticism,as well as those classic female archetypes in mythology. Regarding those fossilized and monotonous images as impediments to women's freedom and liberation,Carter endeavors to shatter them in her demythologizing strategy and appeals for a rational attitude toward heterosexual four is the main body of the thesis. Through an in-depth analysis on The Passion of New Eve,it demonstrates Carter's demythologizing of “The Temptress,,,”Mother Goddess“and ”Eve“ respectively in the text. Leilah,the embodiment of Delilah,the famous temptress in the Bible,cannot escape the fate of being objectified by men and herself. By exposing”temptresses“ as mere victims rather than symbols of viciousness. Carter condemns the oppression and exploitation of women in a patriarchal society. ”Mother“ in Beulah serves as a severe satire on those mother goddesses in mythology. Carter smashes the legend by revealing the surgically-made essence of mother and the patriarchal values lurking behind her alleged matriarchal kingdom, warning against the peril and impracticality of extremist her most convincing example goes to Eve, the most important female character in the Bible, Her transformative journey from a chauvinist to a real woman in the story illustrates that gender, rather than a hereditary feature, is the result of social influence and unremitting imitations. Carter concludes the story with proposing ”androgyny“ as a solution to the current problems,implying that mutual respect and understanding is the only way to achieve the harmony between the two five comes to a general conclusion, summarizing the limitations of the theses as well as some suggestions for further ! Good morning, all appraiser committee members. I am Deng Ting and my supervisor is Mrs Xu. With her constant encouragement and guidance, I have finished my paper. My deepest and heartfelt gratitude goes to Mrs. Xu. At the same time thank these teachers for participating in our oral defense in spite of being very busy. Now, it is the show time. I will present my efforts to you and welcome any correction.

The title of my paper is On Translation of Loanwords . I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. We all know that loanwords also refer to the borrowing words, and it is a product of language contact. Since the 1980s, with the increasingly frequent contact and communications between China and the rest of the world, a lot of new things and ideas are introduced into China which is bound to cause loanwords from English into Chinese with unprecedented scope and speed. Loanwords involves in every field of social life in the new period, appearing new borrowing climax in the history. Which make the study on translation of loanwords be very necessary.

Next, it is an outline of my paper. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts. Part one presents an introduction for some scholars’ researches on translation of loanwords from different angles. Part two provides an overview of loanwords including the definition of loan words, classification of loanwords, booming periods of loanwords from English to Chinese and the significance of loanwords translation. Part three present existing problems on translation of

loanwords: fake transliterated words may cause semantic fuzzy; many versions of translation for one single word often Lead to confusion in language use; some peculiar forms of loanwords cause obscure semantic expression; unconventionally formed loanwords will corrupt Chinese normalization. Part four on the basis of previous analysis we explore the loanword translation skills respectively from principles and translation methods. Part five draws some conclusions that translation skills is necessary for us to achieve good translation. In addition, we must

continuously study and explore in all kinds of translation that it will help promote the reasonability and normative of the introductions of loanwords in future cultural exchanges.
