一、中职计算机英语教学存在的主要问题

1．1学生基础差，缺乏学习的兴趣

当前的社会思想和录取体制决定了中职学生的整体文化课水平偏低，尤其是英语成绩。通过对新生的摸底调查发现，大部分学生中考英语成绩不及格，其中50分以下的占了将近一半，80分以上的几乎没有，许多同学的英语水平还停留在小学生的水平，有的甚至连字母都写不全，更谈不上进行有效的阅读和交流。英语无用论在中职学校是很普遍的，几乎所有的同学都认为自己的专业是计算机，英语只能算“副课”，学好学坏都无所谓，学好专业才能找到好工作。在英语课堂上，有看专业书的，有睡觉的，甚至有存心捣乱的。许多同学是冲着对专业的兴趣来读书的，没想到还要和英语打交道，主观地将英语学习和专业课的学习分开，这更加重了对英语的忽视。

1．2教材难度大

现有的计算机专业英语课程是供学完中等职业学校基础英语的学生使用的，而现在的中专生在校时间只有短短的两年，有的甚至只有一年半，根本就没有时间先学基础英语再学计算机英语，所以许多学校就直接给学生开设专业英语，其难度可想而知。抛开教材的因素不说，计算机的专业性也决定了计算机英语的难度是很高的。计算机英语是科技英语的范畴，它的特点是：专业术语多、长句多、被动句多、祈使句多、合成词多、一词多义等；文章的结构也具有很强的逻辑性，对于许多阅读都存在困难的同学来说，无疑就是天书。

1．3重课堂轻实践

现行的中专英语教学仍然是沿用了初、高中的英语教学模式，教师多注重学生的语言综合能力的培养，强调学生的听、说、读、写和对单词及课文的记忆。课堂上老师多进行句式的讲解、文章的翻译、词义的区分。老师讲的多而学生练得少，不注重将所学的东西与学生的专业操作联系起来，学生缺乏对专业语言的实际理解，只能是看了文章然后想象。学到最后学生的感觉是：英语是英语，专业是专业，根本就联系不起来，更不要说相辅相成了。学生学英语的动机也就变成了应付考试，获取学分了，很难达到教学的目的。

二、计算机英语教学要与实践紧密结合

中等职业教育是现代化教育的重要组成部分，其目标在于培养大批有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律，具有一定知识技能的劳动者和各种实用人才。同样计算机英语教学也要强调实用性，要摆脱条条框框的束缚，通过实践让学生学到鲜活的语言，实用的语言，提高英语学习的兴趣，增强专业课学习的能力。现结合我的教学实践谈谈如何将计算机英语教学和专业实践结合起来。

2．1实物教学

传统的计算机英语教学在学习计算机的硬件设备时，教师通常在黑板上写出计算机硬件的中英文名称，如鼠标mouse、键盘keyboard、显示器monitor等等。而在对计算机内部的硬件进行介绍的时候，学生没有见过实物，很难确切的了解。学生知道芯片是chip，却没有具体的感觉，当我们将拆开的旧电脑展示给学生看时，他们就很容易地将所学单词对应到相应的硬件上去了。学生通过重复的记忆确实能记住这些单词，但是当我们把学生带到计算机房，让他们坐到电脑旁边，能看到所有的硬件设备，再用英语列出每一个硬件的名称时，无论是课堂气氛，还是教学效果，都是绝对不一样的。
