翻转课堂是教师创建视频，学生在家中观看视频自主学习，在课堂上参与活动并完成练习的一种教学形态。“翻转课堂”的先进之处在于充分调动学生自主学习的能力，颠覆传统教学模式，让学生充分动脑，不再是传统被动接受等等，初步落实了分层教学。学生自学教材后，可以根据自己的需要决定是否观看微课，可以根据自己的需要决定观看几遍。同时，还可以通过两人合作、多人合作等多种合作方式，解决自学教材、观看视频后没有解决的问题。但是要想真正实施，就涉及到了微课的课题选择和制作技术掌握的问题。

三、微课制作

微课是在线教学视频。它以阐释某一知识点为目标，短小精悍，时长为10分钟以内。做好一个微课视频要经过三个步骤：选题，设计，制作。微课制作的形式多样，要根据自己所讲授的内容、学生的基本情况、自己本身的多媒体素养与时间精力等确定合适的教学视频形式，最合适的才是最好的。

众所周知，我国学生学习英语往往缺乏一定的语言环境，缺乏语言实践的机会，而实际教学中又往往只注重句型和词汇的学习，忽视句型的具体应用。因而，不少学生能从原型例子和教材练习中获得固定的、孤立的知识点，但将这些知识迁移到实际生活情境的能力比较差，当他们遇到与之不同场合下的现实问题时就束手无策。而通过多媒体，我们能在课堂上模拟现实生活的情景。如我在教句型“Can I help you ？”时，通过Powerpoint设计了几个情景：

（1）你去商店买东西；

（2）一个学生帮助一位老人过马路。

（3）一个中学生主动帮助一位外国人认路。

学生在这些模拟现实生活的情景中边看边说，不仅熟悉了“Can I help you ？”而且知道使用这句话的具体环境（什么时候说），它所表达的意思（怎么说），以及其它一些相关句子的用法。基于情景的教学中，学生既要考虑所处的场合，又要使所表达的内容前后连贯，也就是要把符合环境要求的一些句子组织在上下连贯、前后呼应的语篇中。在学习“Can I help you ？”句型时，根据前面设计的情景，我们可以采用对话的形式，使学生自动联想以前学过的知识，如“Thank you very much.”和“You are welcome 。”等句型和单词，并将它们用到现在的情景对话中。这样一来，通过多媒体我们不仅缩短了教学和现实的距离，给学生提供使用英语交际的机会，而且满足了他们好奇、好动的心理，学生触景生情，激发起用英语表达的欲望。这种情境性学习无疑在一定程度上促进了学习迁移，使学生在英语交际活动中提高了交际能力这样，学生不但学习了新知识，还复习了原有知识，更重要的是培养了知识整合、灵活运用的能力。

三、优化教学手段、丰富教学内容，突出教学重点和难点

传统教学中学生任务是听，然后跟老师读。这种教学手段单一、不灵活，枯燥无味。渐渐地，学生对英语失去兴趣，讨厌上英语课，怕上英语课。而采用多媒体技术教学，通过丰富的图像、声音、动画、视频等对视觉、听觉的刺激，能极大地激发学生的好奇心。这样通过看、听、说、演等不同的教学方法能使不同层次的同学都能参与到课堂活动中来，他们就会有一种成就感，能体验到成功的喜悦。此时，老师走下讲台，到同学们中，及时给予帮助，同时分享他们的快乐，师生关系民主，合作愉快。同学之间互相帮助，互相学习，愿意合作，营造了和谐的课堂气氛，使学生主动参与到学习英语中去。如英语教学中，单词的学习是相对的枯燥的，传统方法是教师领读或用录音机范读，学生跟读，这些都不能有效全面地刺激学生的感观，应用多媒体课件声像并茂，会给学生全新的感受，他们的兴奋点被调动起来，对于单词的学习也就轻而易举了。如：插入一个可爱的喜羊羊，分别在喜羊羊的不同位置插入暖羊羊，灰太狼等不就一目了然了吗，而且学生既轻松，印象又深刻。再让他们听读说不就简单容易得多了吗，而且恐怕他们还很愿意去运用一下。再如为了突出动词在主语为第三人称单数的一般现在时态的句子中的变化，可在课件中制作不同的人，有单数和复数，采用不同的提问方式，让学生回答，并把关键词做成红色，十分醒目，加深学生对此的印象。最后，让学生来归纳总结动词的变化。在他们总结后，打出条列清楚，重点突出的表格加深巩固他们的学习成果。
