对于一个理科或者机械思维的人不会编故事，基本对于一个话题如果没有思路，感到无话可说（don't know what to say), 那么如何说（how to say) 这一步就更无从谈起了，

因此，理清话题思路是第一步。

就今年1月-6月份的人物话题而言，我个人是按照以下的思路并题的，仅供参考：

人物类：著名的运动员/感兴趣的名人/对社会有贡献的人/社交媒体上的人

敬佩的商人/机智解决问题的人/有创造力的人/小学印象深刻的人/再想见到的人

简单解释一下我的思路：“感兴趣的名人”可以是“著名的运动员”，因此，他/她对社会有贡献，这个人也是你经常出现在社交媒体上的人”。

看到了吗？一个素材，可以无缝衔接四个题目，大大提高了备考效率。

对于“再想见到的人”，同样可以利用以上的思路，只不过在最后把身份换成一个有创造力或者其他特点的人，然后补充想见的理由即可。

这样1-6月题库part 2 的人物话题部分，我们就都有清晰的思路了。当然，你也可以有自己的想法，这里没有标准答案。

2. 地道表达积累：描述人物外表的必备词汇与句型有了思路之后，已经解决了What to say 的问题，接下来解决 how to say，即用英语表达自己的想法。描述人物外表有非常多的词汇和表达，我从以下方面整理一些常见的词汇，分享给大家：Age/Height/Build/Hair/Face/Other features

Age 年龄

young

In his/her twenties

Middle-aged person

Elderly/aged

Height 身高最基础的句型He is is is medium/normal/average height.

但是这样的表达太简单了，句子也很短，怎么让表达更丰富呢？

在口语描述时，我们可以加一些相关描述，比如：In my impression, I remember that he is quite tall, perhaps one of the tallest people I have ever met in real life.还可以使用比较级，比如：I would say that my math teacher is much taller than most of the people I have known, and that his favorite sport is basketball.因此在练习口语时，不要被固定搭配限制住，可以跳出框架，尝试多添加一下细节描述，让语言更有活力。Build 体型

Slender Slim Lean Petite Slight Lanky // skinny bony 都可以表示瘦

但是slim/slender 可以描述身材纤细，苗条，skinny/bony 则表示“骨瘦嶙峋的”,其中petite是形容女孩子瘦瘦小小，lanky是表示这个骨头大，瘦高。

Curvy Womanly Stocky Well-built Muscly // overweight large 都可以表示“胖”但是要注意，fat/plump用形容人胖会有一些不礼貌，overweight/large中性词 。Curvy表示这个人很有曲线，muscly有肌肉。

在描述时，同样可以参照上面的两个方法，让自己的口语表达更丰富：He is quite muscular because he is a fitness fanatic (健身狂), and he goes to the gym almost every day to do all kinds of fitness training to improve his body shape.这里面我只用了muscular, 但是之后用了更多的篇幅解释为什么他 muscular, 这样内容就更丰富，而不仅仅停留在He is very muscular一句。

Hair (发型/长度/颜色)

straight hair 直发wavy/curly hair 卷发crew cut 平头bald 秃的blonde 金发/ grey hair 白发，灰发shoulder-length: 齐肩的，一般形容短发/bob 波波头/ goes down to her waist 长发及腰

具体描述时，主要有两个句型He/she has ... hair.这里直接在省略号中添加上述词汇即可，也可以稍微添加一些形容词，如：She has such beautiful ginger hair. 她有一头漂亮的姜色的头发。She is ... haired.这个句型是用名词+haired 合成形容词，比如：His brother is dark-skinned and wavy-haired. 他哥哥是深色皮肤，头发有点卷。还可以表示一个人头发的变化，如He used to have black hair but now it's gone grey. 他以前有一头黑发，但是现在已经有些变灰了。

染发是 dye one's hair into ... color

Face 脸型oval face 类似于中文的瓜子脸chubby face 胖嘟嘟的脸thin-faced 表示脸型很瘦round-faced 圆脸Square face 方脸，类似于中文的国字脸freckles 斑点wrinkle 皱纹fair skin: 白皙的皮肤这里的表达可以和上面的一起用，比如：His teacher has receding hair and a few wrinkles.他的老师发际线不断倒退，脸上还有皱纹。General apperance 整体特征除了面部特征，还可以描述人的整体特征。看以下几个例句：Smart, elegant, well-dressedShe's a very smart and elegant woman, always well-dressed;这个描述就非常符合“精明能干，优雅知性”这样的特征。Scruffy, untidy-lookingwhile her husband is quite the opposite, very scruffy and 这里是转折，通过opposite 我们可以理解，scruffy 和 untidy-looking 和前面的smart, elegant, well-dressed 是反义词，表示“不修边幅的”。Other features 其他特征moustache 小胡子beard 络腮胡forehead 额头nostril 鼻孔eyebrow 眉毛eyelid 眼皮cheek 脸颊fringe/bang 刘海lip 嘴唇3. 实战练习：以1-6月口语题库为例积累了以上的词汇表达，相信你已经有了大量的语料储备。之后就需要多多在题目中操练，提升熟悉程度和表达的流利度。以1-6月题库中的 Describe a famous athlete 为例，我写了这样一个开头：

Opening:I am going to talk about Elieen gu, well i guess you must know her, a ski champion in Olympic. Who this person is:My first impression about her is that she's quite healthy and tall, and has a great body shape, I guess that's because she does a lot of regular ski training. She also looked quite energetic with her light brunette hair and shining eyes.外貌描述到这里，差不多Who he is 的部分就可以结束了。你大概可以发现，在给一些外观描述的时候，我更多放在了解释细节部分。比如healthy 等。

接下来就是关于她的特点，比如个人学习滑雪的经历/坚持/爱好广泛（钢琴，量子物理，篮球）/等（可以找你感兴趣的视频采访）

所以在实际练习过程中，你也可以运用类似的方法。
