收款收据是公司做业务用的，现还在职保险公司的营销员孟素萍手中还保留有公司为其出具的押金发票就为同一收款收据 (也是被害人) 。

李莲蓉是向资兴公安投案自首 。 她向辩护律师交代，公司之前确开展过此项违规业务，是公司经理交给她亲手经办的 , 至使她后期用同样方式行职务之便 。

这是李莲蓉向公安如实交代的口供 :

“ 2004年1季度，公司为达成开门红任务，原任经理刘凤兰要我到社会上借钱 , 每1万元约10天，给100元利息， 公司如期归还本息 。 为我后期以公司名义向群众借款奠定基础 。 2004年至2010年我向郑恒秀，张丽，孟素萍等20多人借钱，每次借款都以公司要完成任务为由，且出具印有本单位公章的收款收据 ” 。

“ 2004年首季末，公司交给她一项特殊任务一一外借即社会有偿筹资，关于外借，原公司经理刘某某解释为‘ 保险类公司的潜规则 ’ ，可她没有想到，潜规则触发了李莲蓉的邪念 , 只要有据有章，就可以公司名义搞钱，作废的收款收据尚未完全核销，正好利用 , 公章也好盖，以至于李莲蓉桌上有什么章就盖什么章，以至于冒用的公章多达6个 ” 。

在某报头版报道 : 《保险女强人“暴富梦”的终结》里报道 “ 早在郑恒秀之前，孟素萍，高丽敏，韩湘英也上了李莲蓉 ‘ 贼船 ’ ，值得玩味的是，孟，高，韩三人均为中国人寿保险公司资兴支公司的业务员，也就是李莲蓉的同事 , 李向她们集资的理由是 ‘ 公司需要资金完成任务 ’ ，并告知她们，到期返回本金，月利息1% ”。

“ 孟素萍从1996年起一直在资兴人寿保险公司做营销员，她近日向记者证实，李莲蓉当时以公司之名集资，她们是深信不疑的 , 公司以前也借过，借了又还了，也是通过她办理的 ” 。

“ 在2013年1月中旬的采访中，中国人寿保险资兴支公司现任经理彭健坦承，当年公司 “ 内部管理有问题 ” 。

《保险法》第127条和《合同法》第49条都有明文规定，代理权终止后以保险人名义订立合同，使投保人有理由相信其有代理权的，该代理衍为有效 。
