第三步：议论

冲刺在即，看着考研倒计时牌上的数字在一天天减少，不少考生心中即紧张又兴奋。英语写作作为考研提升大项，不可忽视。在近期很多同学开始准备写作复习，在近期我们举办的大练兵活动中，通过批改，英语教研室张老师发现，很多同学存在词汇和语法错误，同时缺乏靓句，写作量明显不足。具体来说，如下：

◎词汇与语法错误

考研英语写作让很多同学都很头痛，有两点原因：一为词汇，二为语法。因为英语与汉语的区别是一词多义，非常讲究用词准确而且正式。同时，英语的词汇非常丰富，一个词语通常都有许多同义词和近义词。考生如果平时注意积累并加以练习，就能够在考试中熟练地加以运用。英文写作也同样非常讲究语法，尤其是考研作文作为正式文体，需要注意以下几点小细节：(1)尽量少用缩写形式。如don't,can't, won't应写为do not,cannot, will not等。(2)用更加正式的否定形式。如not… any应写为no, not… much 写为 little, not many 写做few等。(3)尽量少用xxxetc.xxx,xxxand so onxxx等表达方式。例如：Activities include dancing, singing, etc。Activities include dancing,singing, and other fun stuff。

◎中文式思维模式

很多考生在考试过程中把一些中文的成语、翻译成英文，这种做法导致的结果就是文章不仅行文不符合英文的规律，读起来也让人觉得非常不舒服。。纠正中文思维习惯的关键依然在于培养英文语感，同时考生在平时的练习中也要尽量让自己用英文来思考。如果考生需要用到谚语，名句等，最好的办法是直接掌握英文的谚语、名句，并灵活运用到文章中。

◎注意字数与标点

考研英语作文一分钟平均7～8个字，字数多少算个够?自己目测一下，以大作文为例，中等大小一行15字，最起码写到12，13位置, 因为阅卷人做的第一件事情就是看你的字数，就看你的位置到没有到。如果你的字数没写够，他就认为你连最起码的写够字数的能力都不具备。但是这不是说写得越多就会得到高分。一是时间不允许，二是写得越长，越容易暴露你的缺点。所以临考前要掐表练习字数。

◎忽视优秀范文的背诵

通过范文的背诵，我们可以有针对性的'了解高分范文的写作特点，积累写作常用的词语表达，和闪光句型，解决考生在进行写作训练时，心中有千言万语，笔下无一言的困境。但是，考生一定要谨记，高分范文的背诵在精不在多，20篇足够，但是一定要背的滚瓜烂熟，张口就能说，提笔就能写。很多考生抱怨过，我背了很多范文，可还是什么也写不出来，根本原因就是这些范文背诵不够熟练，根本没有深化成自己的东西。

◎写作训练的量不足

关于同学们关注的新大纲变化，从我个人角度来讲，我认为仍然是延续了去年的一种标准与科学。今天想和大家说，如果你已经走进了夏季考研备考的队伍，尤其对考研英语这个项目来说，我建议大家还是应该重点的把自己的目光去了解一下我们在去年大纲之后包括我们在历年真题当中，所有的这些老师和同学们一起了解研究过程中我们所体会的一些重要信息。

关于大纲怎么变，我想说今年仍将延续去年的风格。整个100分的试卷，三个部分构成，英语知识的运用，阅读部分，写作。

关于完形填空部分，题目来源肯定还是和之前一样的，完型的表现形式是每篇280个单词左右20个空白每个空白4个选项，但是考点是应该没有变化的，比如说像一些连接词关联词的问题，副词的关联词的问题，最明显的一个话题就是曾经20xx年考试的时候第一篇英语知识的运用和第一个分考的就是一个副词inside，作为一个关联处理，那么类似这样的一种考点是不可能变的。

阅读：传统的四篇阅读。从去年和前年来讲我们的文章几乎都是让同学们能够看懂的，但是很多同学反映文章都看得懂，就是题目做不对。为什么?英语复习到了这个时候，必须结合真题，去洞悉为什么会有这样的选题出现，直白的说英译汉的功底，也就是同学们在复习时一定重点强调的是定点的英译汉，看明白是基础，重点在理解。

翻译。从形式上来讲，变化应该不会太大，从近几年的考题当中也看到，同学们的翻译水平也在不断的提高，这也是一个可喜的现象。以上这70分和09年下午考试的形式应该是一样的，那么我对考试的预测我觉得也是这样，“不变中如何发现变化”。

写作。同学一定注意对情景的描述很重要。20xx年大纲对写作的诠释应该说是和20xx年的诠释是一样的。

最后我们总结一下，对新大纲诠释：变或不变都是微调，变永远是对的，因为变是绝对的，但是我们说不变中会有一些细微的小小的变化，这小小的变化主要是一些内容。

关于暑期复习：熟悉真题，记笔记，认真接受辅导老师的教授。英语知识运用：必须要花时间;阅读：四篇传统阅读理解，花时间是肯定的，态度一定要端正，英译汉的功底要重视，同时近年的真题一定要非常熟悉，要有价值的重复;写作：水到渠成。一定要多看，多练，写出来了到底怎么样，符不符合命题老师的审视。

最后告诉同学们，心态上要保持耐心和从容，以好心情去学习，去欣赏去爱上，才能够有所成为!希望同学们都能够乐观看待问题，勇敢迎接明天，明天一定更美好!

Public transportation would cut down considerably on air pollution.

Public transportation also encourages a sense of community. People who travel to work together all the time get to know each other. Car isolate us from neighbors. However, people feel they need to drive because they cant depend on public transportation to fit their schedules. If more money were available, buses, subways and trains could run 24 hours a day. Then they would be available all the time to the people who need them.
