我的老家在康岭，那儿美丽古朴，古色古香，依山绕水。

沿着村里那条鹅卵石铺成的小路一直往前走，你可以看到一幢古朴美丽的木结构老房子，那便是我长大的地方。那幢老房子有两层，每层都有一层屋檐，檐角上翘着飞檐，上面的小雕像依稀可辨。白墙黑瓦，透露着江南民居的独特风韵。要是遇上下雨天就更有趣了，在屋檐下，看着雨珠从檐角滴滴嗒嗒地落下，在空中，在地上跳跃着，从远处看，房子犹如披上了一层“雨纱”，透着一股神秘美。

老房子的前面是一个鹅卵石铺的大庭院，院子里有个显眼的大捣臼。每到逢年过节的时候，七邻八舍都会聚在一起，用这个捣臼打年糕、打麻糍……左邻右舍有的蒸米、有的打年糕、有的搓年糕……围观的人也不少，男女老少，上自头发花白的老人，下至咬着手指等着分到年糕团的小孩，一派和睦吉祥的氛围。整个村子都弥漫着淡淡的米香，一直甜进人们的心窝里。
